Von looks at her as she walks away again he quickl bounces to his feet and follows after her again that lost puppy look still painted on his face. "Well if I didn't do anything wrong then why are you so mad and don't say its about me not talking about my family"he whines after her. He catches up to her slowly catching up to her but always stays behind her not daring to pass her up.

Orion shrugged, "That's fine," He looked at her, wondering if he should ask her about what happened. He decided to get it over with. It might be good for her to talk about it anyway. "Hey, you don't have to answer, but I want to be able to help you. What happened?" he asked, looking at her worriedly. "I'm sorry if that was too personal of a question." he said, turning to look out the window. He yearned to be talking to her outside. He hated being inside crowded spaces. Outside was so big and open. Plus if she got upset, he could comfort her without embarrassing himself or her.

Ember looked down at her book. "What kind of skill?" she asked. She wondered who the girl was, and how A'ine knew she needed help. Maybe she was just empathic. Or maybe it just came with being a hippocampus. After all, she wasn't one, so she wouldn't know what powers they had. She thought back to the myths she read about hippocampus. None of them had anything about that. She decided it didn't really matter.

Corwin blushed. "W-wait! What? No!" he said. And thus, he was too late. He was already at the table. Corwin turned to glare at Alderic. He didn't want to, but it just came. "Great. This'll be so fun." he thought sarcastically.

Before Bella could answer, a boy with black hair and and red eyes came over. He looked familiar. "Oh gosh, it's one of the guys I bumped into!" she thought. She faced away, embarrassed. Corwin looked at the girl, noticing she was looking away. He looked over to the girl sitting with her. He decided to speak first, though he didn't want to. "Um... Hi." he said awkwardly. "I, uh, was wondering if uh..." he stammered. Bella turned and looked at him. Corwin blushed. "Uh, I was wondering if you guys were in the... Equine Class." he asked again, attempting. Corwin looked at Alderic, behind him.

Lily smiled. "Your family sounds so loving! You should be proud." she said happily. Then she put her finger on her chin, thinking. "Uh... I'm not sure." she repeated from Eniko. "Well, I like to talk to others, I guess." she said with a grin. "Ever since my parents disappeared, I started talking to others. I soon got comfortable with it, and liked talking in general. Getting to know people is interesting for me." she said.

Asher nodded with a laugh. "Yeah, I think so." he said. "Separated siblings?" he asked. "You were probably so lonely when you didn't know. I'm an only child. It's so boring." he said again. He laughed. "A soap opera? I don't even have a clue to what that is!"

Jora know it was coming, but for some reason she didn't mind telling Orion. He has been so nice to her, she took in a deep breath to brace herself. "Well, it's kind of..... unusual. Remember when I said something about torment? Well, where I grew up was rather judgmental. No judgmental is putting it nicely, I think verbally abusive might be a bit more accurate." She took in another deep breath, "I grew up mostly in a small phoenix village on a mountain, the other phoenixes, I don't mean just the kids either...." She gulped more air in, attempting to stop a sob from coming out. "They were always telling me how 'ugly' I was and how I was a big, fat mistake." Another deep breath fallowed by her eyes tearing up, "And then, when I was old enough, my father took me down the mountain to learn at a human school he taught at. I thought on the first day that I would be able to make friends and not have people make fun of me..... let's just say I was wrong. As soon as they found out that my father was the teacher, they made fun of me for that." She was shaking now, and tears were pouring over her eye's. Determined to finish she wiped her eyes and continued, "Pretty much, what you just saw was the worst flashback I've ever had.... what happens during them varies; they're usually brought on when someone says something about what people have 'teased' me about before...... Oh, no. I don't mean you brought this one on. This one just happened." She added to what she said quickly realizing Orion might feel awful thinking he might have brought one on. "I don't remember when they started but they've been happening as long as I can remember." She suddenly realized a rather large amount of smoke that came out of her mouth. I hope he didn't noticed, but at least it wasn't a fireball. (*Sigh* really long sorry~ Bmr)

Great you slipped up! Hopefully Ember doesn't hate me or think I'm weird. A'ine knew it was unstoppable. Someone was bound to find out sooner or later. "Ummm, welllllll, I can sort of read minds." She said mumbling hoping Ember didn't hear her. (And of course I can't think of anything for A'ine :P, sorry~ Bmr)

Alderic watched as Serene put some of her starts away. Then turned to Corwin, a little shocked "So wait, you can control 'dark magic'?" Alderic was secretly excited by it I wonder what he can do! Hopefully anything but blow me to pieces! "So Serene, can I see one of your stars? Throw it if it's a yes. It won't get me."

Kala blushes at Von's complement and shrinks down. "That's nice of you to say." She said hoping her hair covered her face significantly enough for Von not to see it. "Not sure if it's true but thanks anyway." She said mumbling. Why did he say anything? Doesn't he know what 'shy' means?! She straightened out a little trying to forget that he complement her. "You like all music? Have you ever been to a opera?"

Orion listens to the story, growing angry. He clenches his fists, and glares at the ground. When she's done her burst out, "They're wrong! All wrong! You're not a mistake, not at all! And... I think you're beautiful," he said, blushing at the last part. He looked at her in the eye, his eyes flashing. He felt his wave of anger recede slightly, although his fists were still clenched. He felt his cheeks flush as he realize what he said. He meant it, but he hadn't meant to say it like that. He looked at the tears in Jora's eyes, and the anger returned. He hated to see people cry, yet he never could stop it. I'm going to make it so Jora won't have to cry again! He had made a vow like that before, but he had never been able to keep it, and that always made him upset. I'm going to do it this time! He feels angry tears well up in his eyes, and he raises one fist to wipe her eyes.

Ember looked at the ground. "So you know what I'm thinking, huh?" she said. The truth was she was scared. She didn't want A'ine to know what she thought. What if she figured out how grateful she was to be talking to someone, or how desperate she was for a friend.

Jora closed her eyes at Orion's complement and smiled a little "Thank you. It's nice of you to say it." She didn't know if it was true or not. Her mother had always told her the same thing, but she never believed it. She started blushing, very glad her first friend EVER was this nice. She felt some tears escape her eyes and run down her cheek. She was ready to reach up and wipe them off but before she could she felt a hand wipe them away for her. "Thanks." She opened her eyes smiling a bit more and looked at Orion. He looked tense and..... angry? She hoped it wasn't her fault. She puts her hand on his fist "Are you okay?" She asked noticing some tears in his eyes.

A'ine shook her head vigorously "Oh no. I don't know what you're thinking. I could but I think it would be rude of me to keep listening when I'm not invited to do so." She sighed and decided to explain "However, If someone is emotional enough, I can't help but hear them." She thought it might be easier to explain with an example. "Like that girl. She wasn't exactly thinking anything, but her feelings were exploding!"

Alderic thought for a moment when Corwin said something about a dragon and then quickly added 'don't ask' Wow. You'd think he knows me! "To answer your question Bella, yeah I'm excited for class! I grew up on a circus with 5 sisters and zilch in the brother department. My mom taught us some basic things and I think it will be great to have a few classmates I'm not related to." He looked at Serene as she said he could see a star and she threw it at him. His acrobatic reflexes kick in and he caught it a couple inches from his face. "Ta-da!"

Von looks at the girl with a sigh of relief that she wasn't mad at him and smiles. He engulfs her in a hug her small frame getting hidden by his larger oe almost makig her disappear completely. "I'm not upset I'm just gald that your not mad at me" he mumbles into her hair. He squeezes her tighter but not tight enough to hurt her more like a big bear hug.

Ashton watches out the window as bird chirp, bunnies hope around looking for food, and other animals live their life happily. Looks at the side of the window she wonders if she can open them ad climb out but to add yo her misery there isn't. She questions to her self if she could just leave but then they would go to her dorm room so she just sits there as the world passes by,
