I've got this 6-vis Griffi project going on, the final results shown below:


What I am doing at the same time, though, is breeding for an increased strength stat by using Philters of Vigor to increase the strength by 20. That can get really expensive for project failures, though, so here's my plan:

The Plan
The 2nd and 3rd generations of this project will have a possibility of up to 2-vis 4-carry (unless I get incredibly lucky, in which case the 3rd gen could have 3-4 vis). That's quite a number of traits possible for a griffi, and I will only be charging the cost of the philter for them; essentially you would be getting the pet for free, but buying the stat increase.

The Catch
You don't know the shown/carried traits before buying the Griffi, so it's a bit of a gamble, but regardless all you're paying for is the stat increase (also, if it is just a 0 or 1-carry, I'll keep it so you are guaranteed at least a 2-carry). However, if a female is born with the traits I need to move on to the next step in the project, I am keeping her; if a male is born with the traits I need, he will be sold only if the new owner allows me free breeding to him. If I end up keeping your hatchling, you will get the next one.

Kind of confusing? Here's an example of how this will go:

Person 1: I want a Strength-Increased Griffi from this project!
Person 2: I want a Strength-Increased Griffi from this project!

*Egg is born*

Me: Alright Person 1, If the hatchling is male or not what I need, it's yours for 60k. Person 2, you get the next egg

*Egg hatches (philter used) with anywhere from 2-carry to 2-vis 4-carry*
*Person 1 buys hatchling*
*Egg is Born*

Me: Person 2, do you still want one?
Person 2: Yes please!

*Egg hatches but is a female and needed to continue the project*

Me: Sorry Person 2, I'm keeping this one but the next one is yours!

...etc
Basically you agree to buy a hatchling when the egg is born, and the price is not based on the number of traits, but just the flat cost of the philter used. The next post will have pricing, project status, and current possible outcomes :)

*NOTE: I am not currently taking reservations for any specific vis pets, nor for the full 6-vis*

These guys will cost the price of a Philter of Vigor, so:
20 Diamonds
60k gold
1 Philter of Vigor (NOT the lesser philter of vigor)

I love the idea of the project, but seeing that those philters are diamond bought only... :c
Any way you could work lesser ones in? I'd love to donate those: they can be used on many eggs since a 6v takes many eggs

6-vis do take a lot of eggs, but it will only take 4 generations(ish) which is not much time to build up the effects of the lesser philters; a 6-vis would only have about a 12 point increase.

I will only be using the philters when someone says they want to buy an egg, that way I don't lose the cost of the philter if the hatchling doesn't meet my project needs. And, I mean, 60k is not a bad price for a project Griffi with a base strength of at least 60 and a guaranteed 2 traits with the possibility of all 6.

If no one decides to take me up on this offer, I will be waiting until I actually start getting 6-vis griffis from this project to use the philters :)

Are you buying your own philters?

Well you may not get a 2-vis; it may be anywhere from just a 2-carry to a 2-vis 4-carry. Life would be so much easier if we could see the traits before using a philter x.x

And, by the way, I was going to wait 'till it hatched to tell you buuuuuuut I've got an egg from these guys that will be hatching in 2 days. If it does not meet my goals for this breeding I was going to give the hatchling to you (no philter used) if you are interested :)
