but yet i still felt dread

true i felt fear
even though i knew my end was here
i wept and cried
this was not my suicide

the Executionist hesitated
he new death has waited
a crow watched from atop the church
the crow cawed from its perch

i still was scared of what awaited
i knew it was me all the world had hated
i relaxed , became calm
i stopped having a qualm

this wasn't a suicide
but i still apologized
