Perhaps there's some sort of setting enabled on the account that's doing it? I am not familiar at all with Facebook in regards to being on the user-side of things.

Yeah, I'm not familiar with Facebook much either and I've been putzing around with the settings and nothing jumped out at me as the cause. I called my dad over and he didn't even change any settings but he miraculously fixed the problem XD

I do run the Sylestia page (not official) on fb but I haven't been saying anything about the giveaway on it or messaging people saying they won. I know it's most likely another account but just letting it be known, it is not me lol.

Hehe. Yep. I know it's not. I found the source account - it's just a gibberish personal account (It's like dhghdghdghdihgtdh). It's a personal account mocking their personal page as a business page. I have no idea if it's an actual person doing it or just a bot script. With how quickly and aggressively it went up, I sort of am assuming it's just a bot script that maybe parses for "contest" or "giveaway" on Facebook pages and then does what it does trying to phish for people's personal information. =\

Pretty pathetic on Facebook's part though to allow such an obvious fake profile to be created and to be able to send messages like that to other people.

I would not touch FB with a twenty foot barge pole. IF I want to completely waste my online time I go to pogo.com...it's a lot safer and I can dodge the idiots by playing against robots. Scrabble does me more good anyway, sometimes I can learn some really nifty words playing that.
