Iris hurries into the couryard, a bow clutched tightly in her hands so that her knuckles turn white. she looks worried, flushed and panting for having run all the way here. she takes a moment to catch her breath before runnning over to a large, worn bell at the other end of the courtyard, ringing it frantically. this draws everyones attention, and once everyone has gathered round, she turns to face them.
"an army approaches from the east, they march on our castle in one days time, we have only a day to plan for their attack. Nasima had Oriana scout ahead and she counted three hundred bowmen and three hundred calvary." she informs the crowd."Nasima had to call Oriana back, as when the soldiers spotted her they opened fire and nearly hit her. they are advancing quickly, and they carry the banner of the bordering nation of Qadia. Lately, Qadias soldiers have been encroaching on our border, this must be what they were planning" the woman explains, looking quite afraid.
"you must come to a descision fast, i urge you to vote as soon as you can to come up with a plan before it's too late" she says, turning to face the direction she came from "Nasima can slow them down a little but, but she cannot hold them off forever" she warns.

Hearing those words angered Milja who was now silently seathing, how dare those outsider to attempt to brign chaos between the walls of this castle. Noticing how tence their stance had become, they forced themself to calm down for now, there was a time and a place for violence.

Illya is in the garden collecting herbs and checking on the plants there. She moves quickly but efficently as she checks the plants. Glancing around Illya waits to see if anyone is around before going to the next section of the garden. Starting a new job was starting to take a toll on her nerves.

Once the announcement was made, Milja left to properly cooldown. They had a reputation to uphold after all and as mutch as they would love nothing more then to reduce the ennemy's army to ashes by any and all mean necessary acting rashly would go against the code of conduct they had been taugh since the day they first set foot on this earth.
Wandering in the garden, the cloaked advisor came across one of the newer recrutes of the castle. They were a bit puzzled to see Illya working so soon after the announcement and, despite not liking to possibly be the bearer of bad news, pulled one of the note card in their sleeve to communicate with her.
"Well hello dear, my appology but your name elude me at the moment. However, i have to ask, did you heard the announcement from earlyer ?"

Illya glances up noticing the advisor for the first time before shaking her head no. She was a little too scared to speak at the molment. Seeing the cloak Illya figured out the cloaked figure was an advisor. This person gave her a chance to communicate without speaking and she took it. She calmly takes the note card and writes back.
"What happened?"

With a light sigh they pulled a second card from their cloak to answer to their question.
It seem i will have to be the bearrer of bad news tho i belive it is a change significant enough not to spare you from knowing. An army have been seen approaching by the est, if things goes on our favor nothing will come of it, otherwhise every worker deserve to know so they can prepare themself.
