I actually like the new way regen works, overhauling pets was fun but this definitely feels more fair :) The only thing that bums me out is that some mutations like plaguebringer are now split in two and you can only pick one, it's such a downgrade in aesthetic :^[
Same. It was fun buying and creating fun new designs, but I understand the economic concerns. Though I had a few that I had to make some choices on when it came to how I'd regen them (especially in Generated Pets that I created with a specific theme). That and if a gene or mutation changes very much. Like, when the 'vorpas were revamped, the neck ruffle I'd put on one of mine (since it made her look like a Vaporeon) became a head ruffle that didn't look a thing like what I'd given her.

Hey I noticed that some Nytekries on the advanced search are being listed with (Colors Re-Genable) when they have already been recolored. Such as Screamer and Rocket Knight

im trying to remake the traits in the pets i can regenerate but it won't let me
it keeps saying not recessive when it clearly says up above.

I had this happen to me as well but I figured out it was because the trait I had vis was lower down the trait chain than the recessive I had in place
Found another oddball.Originally G123, M13 with no M2.
Cannot regen G2 but can regen all mutations. So G13, M123
Similar cases:

Once had vis G123, M13 and carried M2; now Vis G23 M123 and carried G1.
Other similarly odd ones who swap gene slots for mutation slots
Also found one that's 3V with 3 recessives, but can only regen as 2V1C with 2 recessives, or 3V with only 2 recessives due to moved traits.

(no available recessive for G3, but because Rosella was split between G2 and G3, G3 Rosella without recessive is only option to keep 3V status. Other trait options are carried Zebra Finch and Petal Markings which would sacrifice the visible.)

Not sure, but I figure if there are any bugs or oddities in the system Krin should know. Good chance this will be the foundation used for future revamps; less bugs the better.
