Nella heard the commotion and swam up to the barrier between the darkness and the upper level and peared up at everyone who had woke her from her nap

Gabriel and i turn to the boat, curious to see it doesn't have any tourists on it, just staff from the facility. one of them has a long pole, long enough to reach the bottom of the waters. on the end it has an odd circle of clear wire, it looks like something a dog catcher would have.

with a snap, the odd contraptions on the sides of the boat unfurl; revealing them to be two large nets that drag from the tops of the water to the bottom, kicking up sand. with the boat between us and open waters, there is nowhere for us to run but the shores, where there is a line of workers forming already. the boat glides towards us slowly, driving us towards the shore and catching any mer who aren't fast enough to outpace it.

Nella Jumps and swims to some rocks big enough for her to slide threw and hid from the net as it slid by she let out a sigh of relief

question are we suposed to hide from it or follw along ?

well, i'd probably run away if strangers were trying to kidnap me but to each their own! ^^

Chiko : i swim away fastly bumping into someone (Tenebris) on my way to the surface without thinking i grab him quickly(his hand ) and swim to the surface to hide behind rocks wth the him i never seen he before and i look at him curiously while watching the humans ......

do the human oc come in now ?

Nella watched in horror

the boat glides ever closer to me and Gabriel as we frantically look for a place to hide. everyone who is hiding in the rocks is picked out with the odd stick thing, until the only ones left in the water are me, Gabriel, a cecaelia who has managed to bury herself in the sand and an older mer, who the humans ignore.

the humans jab the stick into the water next to me as i swim past, looping it around the very end of my tail and yanking me back. i yelp, digging my claws into the seafloor and trying to hold myself underwater. Gabriel turns back, surprised, but i urge him to escape while he still can.

i'm dragged onto the deck of the ship, unceremoniously dumped on the floor next to all the others who have been captured. like the others, i am quickly tied to the railing so i can't jump back into the water.

Chiko : I hold onto the mer i was with trying to look for a way to escape the net was choking me i gasp in pain reaching out for help writhing around till eventually i am thrown on the deck .....

Tenebris blinks as Chiko grabs his hand. "What in the....?" He looks around frantically, catching sight of a human boat that speeds away. I have so many questions....!?
