Poinsettias are classic holiday plant where I am.
They have medium or dark green leaves, and the flowers are either solid or variegated (bicolor spots/splotches/edging/stripes/graduated), usually a bright red or a creamy pale yellow-green, but I've seen orange, pink, blue, and purple.
They are sometimes called flameflowers.

- Aurora Borealis Griffi -
Yes... I suppose this is pretty cliche.

But really, they really are a beautiful phenomenon. I've always wanted to physically witness an aurora. I've only ever seen them as images, or as drawings. Never fully experiencing it. I can imagine it: The darkness enveloping you, and a beautiful colour painting the sky. I think it's something everyone should be able to experience.

Hoping I can see it in person one day.

My neighbors have some very odd Christmas lights, completely in super vibrant colors. I really liked the purple/blue, it looked gorgeous at night.

The Shadow Queen of the Winter Court

The fae group themselves into seasonal courts for companionship and protection. The Shadow Queen embodies the depths of winter, assuming her crown on the solstice--the longest night of the year when the dark lasts longest. Frost cracks from dusk til dawn, the only sound under shadowed billows of snow. She looks menacing, perhaps, blending into her element, but it is her sworn duty to usher in the light, to keep the courts safe until the equinox when the Dawn Queen of Spring accepts the crown.

Sugar Cookie Griffi
Inspiration
I love making sugar cookies at christmas. The last time I made some I made lots of snowflake ones (similar to inspiration picture) and figured it would be a nice oppertunity to have a pet inspired by them.
