Species: Amati, children of the Dragon Mother

Life span: 300-400 years

Anatomy: The Amati are elven-like humanoids possessing the blood of ancient dragons and the ability to shift into dragon form. Most Amati possess scales of a single hue but are all naturally imbued with a single element. They are swift fliers with large wings and an overall lithe body frame in dragon form. Unlike fullblooded dragons, the scales of Amati are rather soft, leaving the species somewhat more vulnerable to standard weaponry and noticeably weaker than most dragons.
In humanoid form, they are often recognizable by their curved horns, sharp claws, forehead jewels, and feral-looking eyes. Most Amati shun the normal dressing style of man, preferring flowy light garments, especially ones that hide their features from those that would wish them harm.

Powers and Skills:
All Amati are capable of dragonbreath attacks due to their bloodlines. They are capable of breathing their element even in humanoid form, making them fearsome in a fight and granting most members of the species an inherent understanding of a single element of magic.

Culture:
Once home to the Amati tribal city of Nuro, this species has often found themselves caught in the crossfires of the wars of humanity. Many more have been hunted or enslaved by other races and in the present day, the Amati are largely dispersed throughout the realm.

Anatomy: Acid spitting, hissing canines with large maws of shark-like needle teeth, protruding sharp spines, and glowing white eyes.
Lurkers resemble large, hairless doberman-like dogs with distinctively hellhound-like features and jet black skin. They often appear malnourished and tend to cling to dark areas, fearing light.
Often kept by intergalactic smuggler and wayward sorcerer alike.

Species: Nasalo

Life span: Immortal (Fae realm), 80-120 years (mortal realms)

Anatomy: Nasalo are malevolent Fae spirits given physical form by being summoned and bound to a master spellcaster to serve in some fashion as a familiar or protector. They are pale skinned with colors ranging from grey to light blue with large, gremlin-like blank white eyes. All Nasalo have stark white hair, shark-like teeth, short, spindly tails, elaborate dark body markings, and sharp claws on their hands and feet. Nasalo are infamous for their ravenous appetites and highly aggressive behavior when hungry or threatened, often being likened to goblins or trolls.
They are, however, highly obedient to their spellcasters and known to defend them with their lives. Most Nasalo are highly intelligent and learn quickly if given the opportunity to explore.

Powers and Skills: Most Nasalo are shapeshifters, using Fae magic to assume the guises of either animate or inanimate forms to conceal themselves in hunting down would be adventurers or any other threats that stumble upon their way. They are nocturnal by nature and have excellent night-vision.
