Dune smiled and grasped your elbow, giving you a nervous glance. "Sorry. It's just so hazy that I don't know if you would be able to make it... no offense. I just thought that this would be easier..."

"Knowing them, they'll just keep watching you from a distance," another voice chuckled. "Eagle and Fable don't normally give new people an advantage-yes, I did just tell her your names. And no, you two are not going to fight over it." The voice was quiet for a few seconds, most likely staring intently at 'Eagle and Fable.' Finally, the voice spoke again, slightly weary. "So, would you like me to show you around?"

I let out a small laugh at the thought of the flabbergasted expressions both Eagle and Fable must be making, " That would be great, thank you. But may I ask, why is it protocol that Ambrosia has to stay out there?" I point back towards the entrance, making the assumption that they could see me even though it was dark.

Dune shook his head, now slightly tugging on your arm. "Sorry. Some girls would just take it for... affection. I didn't want to offend you. Come on, it's a few paces away."

You hear a few quick steps, and a young girl holds up a hand. "Hadley. Nice to meet you. River should be down in 10 minutes or so-River's captain here-but I can take you around for now." She paused, waiting for any possible questions.

The boy shoots you a cocky grin. "I know. That was me. See?" The boy lifts your arm. "Don't be offended, I needed to stop you. I am law enforcement after all."

Dune smiles gratefully, lowering himself to the ground. "Right in front of you. Flatten yourself before you go in... or hit your head. Either works."
