My submission!
Heres the album, if interested, there's a whole bunch of extra stuff/notes there.

Forgot to take a pic of the drawing before coloring, but oh well.

Finished, drawing Nanette & Casmir, before he got mutated, it's not that I don't like the way he looks, it's just how I remember him 90% of the time.

Finished coloring.

I then cut them out. There are extra foods/drinks & a table that I forgot to take a pic of when doing so, sorry about that.

Refined the cutouts.

& a lil close up, it says Will you be my va-luff-tine?
(Bad pun, I know.)

Finished setting up the background.
(Forgot again to put my name & date...)

& now were done! :D
*Click on the image, its a video.*
Im now realizing that I never really put those balloons to use >.>

Here's mine:

I reworked an old luff vector I created in illustrator a few years ago. Adding some extra hearts and decorations.

I printed out two copies, gluing one to the front and one inside. I didn't have the right kind of glue available and that caused some bleeding ;w;

Added the writing to the card and ta da!

Images clickable to a larger size.

Petals cut out of fabric.

Pencil sketch done and fabric petals made into a flower.

Colored pencil coloring begun.

Coloring done! I was originally planning to cut the paper into a heart shape, but I decided I didn't want to cut into it.

So instead, I made a tissue paper frame. (I wanted it to be red, but all I had was pink. I colored it a little with colored pencil, but it's still very pink.)

The pictures didn't turn out too well, but I edited them and they seem more true-to-life now. Please click on them for better quality.

Whew! Finally after almost a year of prep and a lot of setbacks! I have finally sewn my first rikki plush! I know she is missing feathers it was on purpose as the feathered did not sew in well and .... they kinda caught fire, but its okay!

Warning! This Post is Very Image Heavy!

I learned that I'm going to need to tweak things a lot before I do another one >.< Poseables are so much easier. However I will not hold you up with the details and I'll let Petunia and Perdi do most of the talking ^w^

SO Fist off these first two images are remakes being I smashed my phone about two days into it but OH well! All the materials! as always I gathered way to much stuff and didn't end up using it all>.<

Next I got out my hand made pattern, this is really what took the longest as I did it last year right after the spring fest egg, and it was a lot of trouble shooting and measuring and just......crazy

I don't have pictures of me tracing the pattern and the tedious hand sewing thanks to my lovely little accident but here are all of Petunias little stuffed pieces.

after sewing those all together by hand she was finished...... kinda something just wasn't right..... still cant put my nose on it....

So while I pondered I started to get to work on Petunia's card. After all it would be her first Gift to Perdi

A little more.....

Finished! and I fixed Her nose! it was just a little too flat for my liking, plus she needed some happy little eyes

Next the Orb! I had to plan ahead for this one and I shaved some of the roses from my valentines gift and placed them in the freezer to keep them a couple of extra days ( whole week and a half >.>) so they could be used for this fun orb!

And with that Perdi arrived (with a brand new foot!) Story behind Perdi Is he was a Puffadore Poseable I was creating for on of the contests last year, but life got in the way and I broke his foot so He temporarily got set to the side, but here he is with a gift of his own !!

And That's the End Here is the completed Couple and their Valentines gifts!

Maybe soon I can get working on Perdi's sister and her Secret someone ^w^

Alrighty! After about 70 hours of work, 7 skeins of pink, a ton of stuffing, and many hurt fingers, I'd like to present my crocheted puffadore!
I decided to modify an existing pattern for this. The base pattern can be found here.
Things I changed include muzzle length, ears, ear tufts, tail, hair, the feathery things, and the way the pads where made.

We've got the muzzle, an ear, and the head here!

Anddddd here we have an ear (and a half!)

Had to box this ear piece out. Didn't turn out fully like a triangle whoops.

And wowza! We've got hair AND a nose now!!

Here's some legs!

Here is alll the pieces together
Now to just sew them up

Last but not least, here she is in fully glory!

She stands, err well, sits, at 12 inches tall.
Here is an album with more progress photos and some close ups :)
This has been very fun, but my fingers are very glad that she's finished.
