Perhaps there is reaon why the top freezes first. Consequently your hoof is stuck in the thin ice in the shallow puddle.

Glory broke the ice with her other hoof. She touched the puddle again and focused on freezing more than just the top.

The top and a little of the middle of the pond freezes. Even though you've only used your magic on this small pond you feel tired. It was good experiance though.

Glory went to the nearest tree and rested there.

The nearest tree is a white pine with needles for leaves. It offers you protection against the possible incoming weather.

"This reminds me of when I passed a mountain goat on my way down the mountain." Dove said randomly as she inched along; she turned back every so often to check on Raven

Raven was far less experianced on the mountain but she was doing her best not to fall. She was trying to keep more toward the mountain then the ledge."Remind me never to climb another mountian."

Dove let out an amused snort. "Oh it isn't so bad, just be careful. This could have been a lot worse if we couldn't reach the cave in time." She said as she tried to keep the mood optimistic

The path widens a little the higher up but not by much. The cliff above you has is suitable to rest on if you need a break and are willing yo share with a mountain goat.

"Need a break Raven?" Dove asked as she looked back for a second before focusing on her footing

"I would apperciate it," Raven whinnies as she walks carefully on the side of the mountain.
