Phew that took a long time! It gave me a lot of practice with shading though (which was really nice as it's an area I'm especially weak in).
I'm loving all the entries, good luck to all the other contestants! :)

Few Questions
Can you duplicate the line art to make the lines stand out more?
Can I add flowers to the antlers of the Ferrikki with out altering the line art, just add them in with color?

I think you can as long as it is under the line art 4gwm, thats what I did with mine and I believe i have done it in the past as long as I think you clarify that it is infact shading and color I dont think it will be a problem.

Tada! Finally after many weeks of shading and coloring and re-shading and re-coloring, 11 folders and over 200 layers! I have finished my winter fest Tribute ^w^. The pier, curtains, wreaths, candles,Glowing water, and gold decoration on the castle are all shading and/or color no line art was harmed in the creating of this image! It is clickable to take you to the post so you can zoom in and explore all the detail.
The Coconut Sands Ferrikki is Kaita's Nexus
The Emperor Sylvorpa is GG's King
The Conjurer's Soul Sylvorpa is Spelf's Sulamith
The Kelpari is Harleyc's Ocean Nebula
The Vul is Theafy's Cool Mist
The Vibrant Coleus Lup is Som's Lifandi
And Last but not Least the Morkko Is a New sylesti of mine Named Yujo The Timeless
And Yujo is Japanese for friendship or fellowship so she is a tribute to the timeless friendship I have found though Sylestia thank you guys ^w^ As a Bonus for this taking so long I added a peak at a two tone black and white version! also clickable!

This took a really long time but I'm finally finished. It was honestly really fun playing around with backlighting!
