Sorry it's a bit late!
Dexion was the product of an affair that his father had with another god. When the child showed up at his door some nine months after their encounter he quickly disposed of the child by tossing him down into the mortal realm in a hopes that he would just die and never be a problem again. That would have been the case hadn't it have been for the elven couple that found the child while traveling westward with their clan. They took him in as their own and raised him as such for most of his young life until he had his mother were captured and sold as slaves to the royal family. That was when he met Dorian.
