Mountains towered in what now seemed like East and in the West the plain seemed to extend on forever, dotted here and there by small groves of trees. North there seemed to be what looked like tiny towers in the distance, and to the south there were thick storm clouds that obscured the earth below them.

(I think itd be better if you roleplayed Nerida since I dont know whats happening.)
Aydan quietly listened to the two explain Quantum, and caught the bag the girl threw before he watched her leave with a frown on his face. The two told him he was special, made him thirst to know more about creators, and left without answering his question about where he was.
He stopped fuming as he realized that he hadnt opened the satchel, and quickly examined its contents before slinging it on his shoulder. He turned towards his familiar the two had left him with and sighed before smiling wearily at the familiar. He realized that he should name her, and paused to think about what he could name her.
Do you mind if I call you Nerida? he asked the creature. He reached a hand out, and slowly began to run his fingers through the creatures fur, looking around as he did so. Now... Where do we go, he mused.

Nerida yawned " well I'm not sure, that stormy place has a nice Aura to it..." she said her tail wagging as she tilted her head " and there are lots of way points along the way where we can rest and search, maybe we can figure out what we are supposed to do here" she said waiting for your approval first

Venus shook her head as she lifted it from her nose wandering through flowers " No Idea Master, but there seemed to be a scent of a small creature that ran through these flowers earlier, maybe we can harvest some leaves and see if they may be useful for getting us some food" she said her mind already seeming honed in on the thought of dinner

As you traveled the air got a bit cooler and the grass seemed to become thicker and more tall reaching almost up to your knees at some points, in fact it looked like a good place to hide those quantum things you remember the girl talking about before they left.
