Kalorenda is the most elite wizard's academy in the world, on a private island that takes in students from all over the world, and you've been accepted, as the headmaster uses her magic to pick out only the most elite students with the most magical potential.
The world of wizards if the best kept secret in the world, as most of their business takes place outside the human realm. Both wizards of the human world and wizard world can be chosen to go to Kalorenda academy. The kids of the human world are usually scouted out by a wizard ambassador, if they accept, they are brought to the academy, and if not, their memories of the situation are erased, this is done with parental consent of course. Wizard realm children are allowed to keep their memories.

Using symbols to cast magic
[Casting and familiars are required classes for 1st year students]
