What is a breeding project and how do you do one?

A breeding project is where you make a color pallate and a use certain genes you picked out and put them to a certain breed of sylesti. You do this for both a male and a female of the same breed. Then you breed them for the desired colors/traits. It can be themed or non themed sylesti. People usually use essences and preplan the colors/genes via the generator. You dont have to use essences, but its easier. You'll need probably lots of sylesti pairs, but it depends on how many genes. You'll need pet dyes which you can get from the scale shop. Scales are from nuturing pets. You'll need 1,000 scales for one pet dye.

I find looking at the generator helps if you're stuck on what colors/genes would look good for a project. Just dont steal the designs people tend to get upset. Some people may let you use the design if you ask them though.
