Moderating on a wiki is a bit lower-stakes than messing with the code for an entire site, though.

I formed several small wikis and I was an admin on ne (then I left it). Admin on fandom is different from admin on a game siet

Different

It isn't like coding or runnign a website

Global admins on fanddom are just..different. It's a fandom. Fan Kingdom, i like to think of it. Sylestia is a game. Fandom is like an info/idea site

no support, they should choose someone who they personally know. even for other jobs applying is a long and difficult, not just a click on this quiz. most jobs need an in-person interview, job experiance, portfolio, ect
if this is pt 2 of your messy gene suggestion, most people disagree with that anyway sooo

I know for sure Krin has mentioned not wanting to hire other coders. Something about all the time he'd have to spend showing someone else how everything works - he feels it'd be easier to do it all himself, since he already understands everything. Less risk of stuff getting messed up.

As for the admin side of things... I'm not sure exactly how that would look. There are already quite a lot of players who help out in answering questions for people, addressing bug reports that aren't really bugs, etc. What the players can't answer is usually code-related. I'd be down for helping reduce Krin's workload, for sure, but...

At the very least, if they introduced player admins, I'm sure it'd be more in-depth than a quiz. They'd probably favor the long-time, experienced, level-headed users.

But again, I don't know what player admins would do that normal players can't already do.

No support for reasons already mentioned.

It may be dangerous to let someone they don't know become a moderater because they can mess up the game if they have bad intentions, such incedints have happened on other games.
