I haven't read the whole thing so I don't know whether it is but I am just suggesting that even if it is wrong, they shouldn't be rude.

please point out where i was being rude. i am doing my best to calmly point out that their design was copied, and they should not enter it in contests saying they designed it.

#1 rule on this (and most other design contests) is not to steal designs. maybe you dont know who designed that theme but its still design theft.

he/she shouldn't. what happend was that my computer crashed after I posted from all the other people PMing me. My design was the same blue as the starscape but I didn't know how to copy the blue to the new design so I loaded in my zolnixi for it's blue. I removed the traits from him and added the ones I was using. then i colored it the new colors. I then submitted but it crashed. I got on this morning and didn't check on the design I put in like a dummy. Then I got a ping and Encryption accused me of stealing and copying the design. I explained what happend to him/her and they called me a liar. Then I sent the original design. He/she then still accused me. I explained again and still got the same answer. Then I politely said have a good day with a smile face. Not to be smart but to be nice.

I can look the person up and say sorry if that will make it better

For one thing, things can be misunderstood. If you think they are lying, it's probably a better idea to get things figured out as much as possible first. If you still think they are lying, saying "Please don't lie, it's not good" (or something like that is a better option than saying "If you want to keep trying to lie, go ahead."

ok. My computer is from 2007. It is old like I said. it crashes a lot and this problem has happend before. I have talked to verizon and they said they can't do anything. please understand

I agree with you and I think that is a perfectly acceptable answer, it's not even that big of a deal, why would someone 1. Copy a design after it clearly said not to, or 2. Lie, when you would literally just have to make a new one?

1. bc its easier than coming up with a creative design.
2. bc they are trying to cover up that they copied the design.

I didn't know that if you copied the color template and changed the traits it was considered copying. ok well it's taken down so you don't have to worry about it anymore sorry. thanks for the info though :)

and suddenly its now "my computer crashed, i wasn't copying!" since computers magically make a random design that looks exactly like a theme. makes perfect sense. if it was a real mistake, explain this post:

it is a big deal bc design theft is basicly art theft. would you go around the art forum and say something is your art when you didn't make it? no? then why would you steal sylestia designs and say they are your own? its the same thing.


if you take a look at what the posts all say they are all different and the story suddenly changes from "i didn't know that's copying" to "its my computer's fault." not sure if a lie could get any more obvious.

Lol well if you're going to block me I don't see the point in arguing and if you're going to be like that then there's really no point in trying to convince you otherwise. Some people can't be convinced and aren't worth the trouble to convince, I guess. If you see this, which you probably won't, I hope you have a good day regardless :)
