i dont code but i know the site is not photoshop. they need to code in 1. the pics itself and 2. make it so that the color can be changed when you put color in the generator. (thats what i meant about putting color) just like everyone else on the thread has already said, making traits from same slot just ruins the point of making trait slots in the first place. and they need to be there to avoid overlap.

admin/artists have a lot to do nd ur suggestion would pretty much jsut mess up pets and be pretty pointless.

Try drawing one of the species, every cersion,male female and bith baby bersions.. Now draw he traits for every version. Hats already over a hindred drawings. Now code it all into a web agme and make i recolerable.


And then ad you r idea of layering.

I do not support this. Like many people said before coding is difficult. Very extremely painful and long...I mean I was helping my friend code a login and that was complicated enough. A lot of people have already pointed out the drawing and creating the pet problem but there is more, much more complications.

1. First of all just the generator. Ex. Would there be multiple G1's and multiple colors for it. How would you even code that. I mean the poor generator.

2. Pet profile. How would you even list are the multiple G1's for examples and their colors. And it would be really muy alot cluttered.

3. The last one I don't see any possible way to do. Imagine breeding. Just imagine it.

Just those three things. Pretend you can draw it. But simply coding even one of these things will take ages. Just ages.

In addition, Sylestia is the game with the most customization and I've played so many pet games. Most of them have set colors, here we have a hex generator thingy. Then we have eye color, body color, acents and then genes and mutations. SIX GENES AND MUTATIONS. Most games have three at most. And not to meantion how many species they have. Soooo many species. I feel like the admin here deserve a long rest for all the hard work they put into making so many customizable pets.
