( Same here lol, I am unsure if or what is going on. I kinda wanted it to be either 2-3 survivors or just 1 survivor having to train a new crew as to me it makes sense... Or not xd takes a few people to man a ship- so I guess there were survivors but very little. )

So wait, we can have our characters just start out on the ship right? I think Ill just do that since for my character relationships and stuff that might be easier. Circe can be kinda new though, but like a few months new? Im gonna have to redo my posts...errr
Edit: I dont know which of my characters should be new or not!!))

((Let's just say they have like 5 people after the attack - Maxine, Defiance, a new girl, and a couple pirates.))

Defiance shrugged and ripped a bite off of the meat, chewing the hard, tough meat slowly, then handed the rest of the strip to Falkan, who began nibbling it eagerly.
She knew if Maxine refused, she wouldn't be able to change her mind easily.
Defiance reached out and put a hand on Maxine's shoulder, risking having the bones in her wrist broken.
She recognized the look in her pirate sister's eyes well enough.
"It's not your fault, Max. They took us by surprise, and they had us completely outmanned and outgunned."
She slumped. On her shoulder, Falkan chattered indignantly, yanking on Defiance's hair to steady himself.
Defiance reached forward and took a spoke on the ship's wheel. She winced as she did so, and felt a hot stream of blood trickle down her back as she ripped open a barely healed-over scab from where she'd been grazed by a bullet. She hadn't dared to think where she'd be now had the bullet been a few inches forward. Unlike Maxine, she still wore her torn and bloodied clothes from the battle, and the new blood wouldn't make much of a difference.
She'd spent most of her time looting the bodies of the navymen and chucking any valuables in the hold, then throwing them unceremoniously overboard. Her pirates she gave a proper burial at sea, sewing them up in their hammocks with a ballast stone to drag them to the seafloor. Her fingers still bled from the needle.
She tried to slide Maxine's hand off the wheel.
"You're in worse shape than I am. D*mn it, Max, you'll kill yourself. Go get some blasted rest. I'll hold the Night until you're better - and don't say you're fine."
Defiance let out her breath through teeth grit against the pain.
"She's able to stay afloat without you at the helm. This is a shady port if there ever was one - there'll be no navymen here."
Falkan scampered down her arm to sit on the wheel. Even he gave Maxine a 'look.'

Oh my gosh. Ok. Pigwidgeons thing is that she kinda is super savvy with joking with the crew and knows her way around, so I think she should be a survivor, but how about she just survived cause someone (who can be now dead) locked her in a closet or something so she wasnt in the fight. Which kinda pisses her off but shes alive so oh well. Circe can be new since we can do the whole growing relationship with Maxine? Cassiopeia idk, so could go either way, being new and becoming Defiances apprentice, or survivor and being her apprentice...Ill just start with Pigwidgeons redo then, and Circes last post will still be standing. Ill deside what do do with Cassiopeia...))
