Hey so I've been having this issue the past several seasonal festivals... I haven't been able to see my progress in nurturing/defeating sylesties when I know for a fact that I have nurtured and defeated at least one of the species (I have checked all of them) and the event is current so I don't know what the issue is. I used to really enjoy the contests. Can anyone help me?

Are you checking durnng the contests? It doesn't register unless the contest is in session. (And I think defeats go by pets in the party If I remember right so 3 qitari killing 39 enemies equals 39 points on the leaderboard)

Hey Krin, I thought we were able to generate spring blossom pets for the duration of the festival... or am I crazy? I'm unable to.

Thank you so much. Somehow you cleared up the misunderstanding. I assumed that the points on enemies defeated were the enemies themselves not the pets that defeated the enemies. I see now my progress. Thank you so much.

I think someone mentioned they hoped it was a possibility, but it wasn't implemented...? As far as I know SB pets are only able to be caught during flower blooming events in the fest zone.

Right. I thought I had read somewhere that it would be implemented. ;-;
For Spring Blossoms, how about make it like Valentine Lace and Lucky Dust? For a short time (couple of days), we could create pets with that trait in the generator, and after, we had to use disruptors. It was fair...
