"Stay here," he says, going back into the carved out room. He rifles through filing cupboards before bringing out a piece of parchment. He comes back to you and reads it. "So your Familiar is the Griffin Skywhisper, son of Twilightarrow?" he asks.
.
"Yes, he is."

Shootingstar backs down the hill and looks to you with fear in his eyes. Whatever it is, it's a problem, and a big one at that. Until you know what it is, extreme caution is definitely necessary.

"'Pretty good'? It's the best soup you've ever had!" he grins, finally tucking into his portion.

The Wyvern belches, clearly finished his already. He looks up to the heavens, curiousity in his gaze. Stars are dotted all across the sky, hundreds and hundreds of them. The Wyvern, after living deep in the forest, probably hasn't seen so many before.

"Twilightarrow was a very nurturing mother, and never rejected any of her broods," the man says, marking something on your forms. "That puts Skywhisper in favour of fathering rejected eggs." He puts all the paperwork back into the filing drawer and disappears up a set of stairs for a few minutes.

When he comes back, he is carrying one of the sacks of eggs. He deposits it in front of you. "If an egg doesn't hatch by the end of this week, then it won't hatch at all. Come back here then if you have any hatchlings so they can be registered with the Elven Aeries. If you don't come back at all you will be at risk of a fine or a forced favour and at worst imprisonment. No matter if you get hatchlings or not you come back to report the results. Alright?"

I take off the backpack and put it onto the ground then get on my stomach and army crawl to see what has Shootingstar so scared without being seen.

Concealed by the grass, you peer over the edge of the hill. When you take in the flat plain in front of you, you easily figure out how Shootingstar got spooked.

Dozens of campfires dot the plain, tents clustered around them. From what you can see, Centaurs, Goblins and Orcs mill around, cooking things and conversing with one another. As you watch, two Orcs begin a tussle over some food, quickly bringing others into the fight.

Black flags billow with the wind, the outline of a moon on it. This could only be the Onyx Moon Clan, a band of ferocious raiders that were thought to be disbanded in the Clan Wars many years ago. But here they are, in much smaller numbers than they once were, but still here.

You're still on your quest to find the creatures families just now... but someone else needs to know that the Onyx Moon Clan is here, far from the Southern territories where they were last seen. You should remember this until you meet someone else on your travels to tell.

I crawl back to the others and whisper, "We are going on the Adventure's Road it's safer and someone needs to get word to the councils that the Onyx Moon Clan is still together."

Shootingstar whinnies, and Crimson looks nervous. We're more than a day away from the road... we're so far from other settlements. What if they find us? she yips.

"If we're quiet and careful they shouldn't find us," I whisper trying to get them to travel quietly, "or do you have any other ideas?"
