I've been wondering if it would be better to make the trick or treating every 8 or 12 hours instead. Every 6 could really cut down on the amount of sleep we get if we really want to be competitive. I'm not sure though how the gifting part is going to work yet though so I'm not sure how that would be affected.

I'd support 12 hours. Perhaps double the points so you'd get the same amount of points as if you were able to do it every 6 hours. But since you'd only have to do it every 12 it would be less...tedious.

No support.
It's not a competition then, honestly. If the hours are rounded up then the prizes should be halved.

I'd support, but implementing a system like that by now might skew scores a little, I guess.

That and since started "late" (6-12 hours later after event opening), competitiveness only exists for a few. Although, I can't imagine how sleepless or lifeless those few are. I've heard so many complaints about hand cramps and fatigue from clicking ToT so much lol.

Personally I support this! It takes 2-3 hours to go through all of the people I can send requests to, and by then it's only a few more hours till I have to do it again! Not to mention I have class and work! It's all become very stressful for me and I hate feeling like this.

Holidays use to be fun, yet now I go to work having an anxiety attack because I'm missing my trick or treat time AND Frankenpet(because they only ever have them when I'm at work.) I love Sylestia but with the addition of trick or treating makes me feel like I'm being forced to play if I want to have nice things ):

And to what dragon said, I think it wouldn't really change competition. For example, say the typical school student can only be on after school from 5 to 10, that's only enough time for one cycle through anyways, Adjusting the timer and doubling the amount of points you get would allow them to get more points that they already could, additionally it would help some of the more competitive people actually sleep and get a break!

No support. If it were any longer, I'd never get any sleep |D For 12 hours, starting at 4, I'd have to also get up at 4 am. With 6 hours, I can do it at 4 and 10. Perfect.

No support, either. 6 hours is reasonable, imo... Also, the system is already made, changing the times could, like Flute said, potentially mess up current scores or something else in the system.

A little late, but, for this year's ToT we don't want to change anything mid-way.

We'll take everything into consideration for next year and adjust the timer if we feel it will improve the feature.
