Yeah, I didn't either. I wasn't sure what they did, and I didn't want them to be something bad or have to fight my way back through all the other stuff just to get it. I'll probably just have to use dozens of elixirs. And my pets are only level 46...

-Do keepers have the same thing?

Maybe so, but my max stat team got whipped along with four other teams last night in the grove. My teams have just started in the grove and have not gained rank so unless you have level 70, ranked pets, then most likely losing is the only outcome. I am not great at figuring out strategies so I just will not be defeating any Keepers of the Clover or other named during this event.

I understand Krin has to make the named opponents higher stats and skills than the best teams on the game, just wish there was a way to make the named enemies stats and skills change according to the team they are fighting. Ex. my best team has health of 13000 while the Keeper of the Clover had a health of 105000 along with the healing spell. It would be better if my team only had to battle say KOC with 75000 health. It just seems very unbalanced to me.

A ton goes into building an encounter. They're balanced in certain ways for all sorts of various reasons. In general, enemies have much higher Health than Player Pets because otherwise battles would all last 1-3 turns and that is not a design direction that we want to go in.

As for the Keeper specifically - their heal is both a heal and an Absorption Shield that heals for the amount of damage left to be absorbed. The best way to counter it is to make sure your pets have 50-100 Mana in stock and as soon as the Keeper uses that ability, hit it with your hardest hitting Finisher abilities depending on which Elements you are using. The faster that you eat through the Absorption Shield, the less it will heal itself.

For additional combat help, I would suggest taking to the Player Guides/Battle Discussion Forum. There are tons of players who I am sure would provide lots of assistance in building up pets and battling. =)

Thanks Krin.

I have been reading through some of the guides and discussions, even messaged other players with advice and assistance. I am resigned to the fact that it will be many months from now before my pets are ready to take on most of these named enemies in festivals and in the grove. One day we will get there.

Hi I may not have advanced that far but I'm still want to participate. I have yet to get past Umbera Forest...
Is there any way that I can still participate in this event?
