After just a few minutes of searching, you and your siblings have found a large pile of pineapple, mixed with various other fruits.

I grabbed a pineapple and tossed it from talon to talon lost in thought, the thought of school slightly scared me but I brushed it off and ate the pineapple, the thought of suntime made me quite happy and I finished eating my share of the pineapple.

Can I be a hybrid?

One month later

You enter the building with a word on top you cant understand, but you know that this is school, because thats where Anthurium said he was taking you. He wished you good luck on your first day, and flew away back to take care of the baby sloths that he helped raise before they found a dragon.

You enter the room and find several open seats, one in be back corner, one in the center front, and one in the middle, somewhat to the right of the room

I sit in the back corner ready to learn and look around the room, I miss my warm home as I look at the cold room made of stone.

(Its no problem, just makes things a little more convenient)

The sides of the classroom were made of stones that were set in place by the ivy and vines growing through and around then tightly, the roof, however, was made of loosely woven tree fronds that allowed light to filter through into the room for all the young rainwings. There were about 14 rainwings, and from what you could assume, 3 rainwing/nightwing hybrids.

*I want to go home too, Im a little nervous here* The dragon next to you said. His scales were a deep blue and green color, but his underbelly scales were a pale yellow color, and his eyes were purple, implying he was half nightwing, possibly reading your mind. *Nice to meet you, Crystal, my name is Penumbra* he introduced himself

I looked at him nervous, "um... Hi" I shifted uneasily and fidgeted with my talons. "I am guessing you are half night wing?" I looked around at the others. "So you can read minds?"

*Yep! My name is Penumbra!* he repeated himself. *Im half nightwing and half rainwing* he confirmed somewhat repetitively. *I can read minds, but my mom says I shouldnt, because it-* he seems to ponder his next statement *Oops, I accidentally read your mind* he said, a little ashamed of himself, the black speckled scales on his wings turning blue and pink in shame and embarrassment.
