Something that lives near an underwater volcano and has even adapted to living in that environment is the Hunter and Harvester Shrimp. But a source of life living at an underwater volcano would have to be bacterial filaments. These filaments provide life for all the other creatures living near the volcano.

That is very very true. However, there are a number of species that do live there besides those shrimp and the thick layer of carpeted bacteria.
