You reach down and tap the button with your hand. The world around you lights up with a blinding bright light before you find yourself sitting on a smooth stone path. As you slowly blink away the bright white dots you find both Isaac and your companions standing in front of a large white marble building with several floors.
Gritting your teeth you continue to wade through the coils of blackberries using your stick to divert a majority of the damage. Eventually, the area around the flickering flame comes into your view. A small wooden cabin sits in the middle of a clearing, flames pouring out of every conceivable opening. It was on fire.
You slowly reach out and poke at the flowers. They practically flinch away from your touch, much as a scared animal would do. Some of them even close back up.
What should you do?

There isn't much outside, but after a small search of the area, you find a small staircase descending down into the earth. A trail of glowing blue flowers lays spread down over each of the stairs. Other than that you do find a small sapling that is completely white.
What should you do?
Found it! And btw my reply was to examine it
Edit: it was on page 170 something or 169. Something like that

I'd continue moving, quirkier this time in hope not to get caught, but I'd stay around the trees. While I was told not to trust them I felt like I could, and I was close enough to the edge that if I was proven wrong i could book it.
You continue to follow him along the winding hallways, ducking through low doorways and clambering through gaps in the walls. You notice that there are several names of birds written on specific doors, by the time Wrenn drags you outside you've counted at least twenty three different bird names on doors.
Outside you find tall redwood trees and low bushes surrounded my pale red flowers. Wrenn slows imminently as he descends down into the trees raising a bow from his hip.
The small white sapling is completely devoid of any foliage and is lodged tightly in the ground. As you get closer to it you are able to make out a faint whispering sound out from the wind, it appears to be coming from the small sapling.
What should you do?
