Upon hearing your voice her face hardens into a displeased scowl. She runs her hand over the arrow and winces. She looks down to the right before muttering a quiet and worryingly hostile response.
"What do you think? Do you always go around shooting at people, or was that just special for me?"
You begin to make your way back down the path behind you, pushing branches and vines out of the way as you walk. The further you get, the more you dread taking another step. You know for a fact that you've never ever been here before, but for whatever reason, it seems rather familiar.
The faint whispers of wind fill the forest, but in the far distance, it sounded almost like people were yelling or maybe even talking very loudly?
The shuffling of gravel and small stones gets closer and you can finally pinpoint the location to your far right down a hill and beyond some trees. You couldn't see exactly what was walking, but at least you knew where they were walking...
What should you do?

I ignore the feeling of dread and continue forwards, anxiously glancing around for anything even remotely out of place or dangerous.

You head quickly away from the cliff and back towards the path that you'd previously been walking on. You can hear the faint muttering of the trees disappearing into silence as you reach the path again.
Should you go back the way you came or continue along the path?
Meteorite cocks his head to one side and takes one end of the stick in his mouth before dragging the stick apart into two pieces. Now in your hands sits a long silver blade extending from a small bit of the stick now acting as a handle. The stick appears to have been a sheath to this sword.
She produces a piece of white paper out from under the desk and starts to sketch out different lines on the paper with a feathered quill. It takes several minutes before she looks to be satisfied with the rough black ink map. She pushes it to the front of the counter next to the flowers and smiles.
"It'll be here whenever you need to leave."
The book that you'd pulled off the shelf holds the title 'The Forgotten Paths, a Guide to Navigating Them' handwritten in black ink on top of the leather cover. A short peek inside reveals that it appears to be a collection of research notes of some kind.
Amiee bounds up to you a small book in her hands. She holds it up to you and smiles in excitement.
"Jumping!! Look at this book! Can you pretty please buy it for me? I'll get my dad to pay you back! I promice!"
What should you do?
