Rosepetal growls and digs his tiny claws into your shoulder as if he is going to jump out at the figure if they even more so much as an inch. Whitecloud sticks right next you head lowered close to the ground, glaring at the figure.
It takes a few seconds for the figure to take notice of your presence. She glances up and stops whistling as she stares at you, her eyes devoid of any discernible pupils. With a flash of bright orangish light, a large lion-like creature is standing guard right in front of her. It growls as she cowers behind it.

You glance down the way you came and wonder exactly how you'd managed to climb so high. You swing your legs over the ledge and jump down to the next outcrop of rock, landing as gracefully and softly as you could. After making it a few more ledges down movement catches your eyes, it looked like something had moved across a ledge a few feet from you, but there didn't appear to be anything there.
Should you investigate?

I decide to investigate. I tell my new friends to be quiet, and silently make my way to the ledge.
Meteorite sticks his tongue out and looks between each of the different paths, slowly surveying each of them with a careful eye. He takes two big bounds towards the path on your far left and then stops before looking back towards you, waiting for your approval to continue.
Upon hearing your reply she dived forward, grabbing your hand and whisking you quickly down the misty blue hallways. She kept repeating different short stories to you and telling you all about some 'Jaxson' guy who, from what you could gather, was not very smart. Her tail occasionally flicked up to hit you in the head.
"Oh! Here we are!"
She dragged you out of a large stained glass door after throwing it violently open. Now standing outside amongst the large trees and jagged crystals you notice that the sky is an unnatural blue colour and the mist continues far off into the trees.
What should you do?

The girl just stares at you confused, fear threatening to overtake her gaze. She even goes so far as to take three steps back further behind the large lion. It in turn growls and leans down close to the ground, ready to pounce if you make any sudden moves. It doesn't really look like she wants to talk.

The two tiny creatures on your shoulders shy away a bit and stay silent as you make your way across the ledges to where you had seen the movement. At first, you don't see anything, but upon glancing down into a small cave you notice the bright yellowish orange glow of eyes. You jump back in surprise and stare down at the creature.
