Meteorite cocks his head sharply to one side and takes several slow steps towards you. After staring at you threateningly for several seconds he no longer seems hugely bothered you and bounds over to you with a happy smile on his face.

Wow, That sure a was a huge change in mood.
'So Uhm, Meteorite, im Sorry for scaring you and Aurorus.'
Meteorite cocks his head sharply to one side and takes several slow steps towards you. After staring at you threateningly for several seconds he no longer seems hugely bothered you and bounds over to you with a happy smile on his face.
As the sound gets louder and louder you find that your mind is repeating it in an odd pattern, almost creating a totally different tune, one of a much more eerie origin. After you take few more short steps down the passageway the tune distorts into complete silence. You continue along until the faint black shadow of a person backed up against the wall changes the scenery.
Keeping a watchful eye on your surroundings you begin to move along between two columns of corn. Nothing immediately jumps out at you or catches your eye but after fifty feet or so the faint crunch of leaves from behind stops you in your tracks.
Should you check behind you?

I immediately go into a defensive stance, with Whitecloud beside me and Rosepetal growling on my shoulder.

I look for a way off the cliff. The lack of noise and furry creatures is unsettling, and I'd like to leave this place as soon as possible.
Meteorite seems to have completely forgiven you for mingling with something that you shouldn't have and he nudges the side of your head with his snout, happy to be close to you again. Aurorus jumps down from atop Meteorites head, landing on your shoulder and quickly curling his tail around your arm.
Standing in the middle of the open space leaves you to wonder what you should do next. You could go back down into the odd dark caveish area, but you weren't sure if that was an amazing idea. A few paths catch your eyes. One to the left, one to the right and one right in front of you.
What should you do?
