Myra froze even more when she saw the fire ignite again. It mesmerized her. She hadn't noticed the other girl watching them. She flinched at his words, if he could eat fire what would he do to her? Her grip slipping to the gutter as she slid down gently and quietly. She was used to that kind of thing from where she had lived before. She dusted herself off a little before slowly coming out from the side of the building. "I didn't mean to disturb you." she said softly as she stepped out so he could see her.

Pyrus blinked, realising it was a kid. *oh. Sorry about... this.* he waved the claw around, then put it out with his hand. *who are you?*

Mist could hear her loud and clear, but chose to ignore her as she saw the matter of her being burned alive none of her business. She looked back in the water. A hand grabbed her and pulled her into the fountain. She shifted into a small dragon and went back up to the top.

Myra hesitated for a moment as she watched his flaming claw like that. "My name is Myra, and yours?" she said softly as her eyes slowly studied his and then his hands. What was he? Why did he have flames? How wasn't he burnt? She had so many questions running through her mind.

*Pyrus. Fits, considering...* he just made a rainbow fire in his hand, held it out, then closed it, making a small explosion. *im pretty sure by your face that your confused.*

She shifted into her human form, and looked back at the fountain, then her arm. It had hand marks on it. She walked over to it, drowning out all outside noise. The water turned a deep blue, and she saw the same hand reach up, but not leave the water. She decided it was enough, and went back to her dorm, ignoring the girl and the boy.

Myra couldn't help the small smile that touched her lips when he spoke about his name. She looked up from his hands. "How aren't you burnt? What...What are you?" she asked as she stepped slightly closer to get a look at his hands with curiosity instead of fear.

Pyrus said simply, *don't freak. I have pyrokenises. That's my name for it, anyway. I can make and control fire and heat, melt rocks, and other things. Including explode. Basically, I'm a mage.*

Myra smiled a little more as she began to tease him a little. "As long as you don't try to burn me I won't freak." She said softly as she looked back up into his eyes. "So that's why you're here? To be a mage?"
