Why do I think it's more than a kids book(if you do):

Why do I think it's more than a kids book(if you do):

The storyline is amazing
And the characters
And the powers
And the prophecy
And everything else :)

My sister bought the first book and recommended it to me.

Why do I think it's more than a kids book(if you do):

To start, it does deal with a few mature themes such as wounds and death(It full out says that dragons were stuffed and then put on display). I'm having trouble explaining it, but for another example, when Tsunami was going over the arena battles(Also, fights to the death in gladiatorial fashion) they do describe what it felt like when she killed Gill to some degree. There are many fight scenes too.


Why do I think older people get into it:

It has a decently well-developed plot and lore, there are some mature themes, and it is a decently long series. Also, the characters have some flaws that make them seem more real.
