Agreed. I have to brainstorm ideas for the short tales thing, so might as well do it all in one fell swoop.

I was sent over by Grape!! She said i'm gonna help out with comics!

Here's my art examples::
DeviantART

And i've been wanting to do a comic and I have a few tips and stuff
----
Just some stuff I wanna add with comics:
For backgrounds and stuff you want to make the colors all similar and darker then the main characters. This will help push your main characters forward, anything you want to stand out make more saturated)) and like I suggest everyone here check out Lavandertowne's videos on Comics

Welcome, Limor. Thank you for those tips, we'll take that in mind. Shard, you should watch that video. Actually, all of us, let's watch these videos.

Right now, we are trying to brainstorm story ideas.

Brainstormed stuff:

1: An outlawed and wanted thief makes an impulsive decision to kidnap a noble sylesti (to use as leverage), and they end up on a journey to the country/kingdom's border (the thief is trying to escape the country/kingdom). Possible subplot: the noble sylesti is trying to cope with a recent death/other tragedy

2: A famously heroic sylesti is searching for someone to simultaneously get revenge and to avenge someone. A subplot: the sylesti is trying to cope with the "someone"'s betrayal as well as the death of a close friend/family member that the "someone" killed, and is partially searching for answers for those occurrences.

2.5: After some kind of tragedy, a heroic/otherwise famous sylesti is searching for someone who was once important to them in order to get answers for said tragedy.

3: Someone (suspected to be a ryo) is creating shadow versions of sylesties. The MC somehow merges with their shadow version, and is left in a cursed state where the shadow version overpowers them at times and takes over. A possible subplot: the MC is trying to protect a much younger relative that they are with.

4: The MC encounters a mysterious magic/energy, which triggers a blessing/curse inherited from their ancestor. Soon after, the MC finds out that a group of sylesties has detected their new powers. Said group aims to harness those powers for an unknown purpose, and the MC is forced to go on the run to escape the group. Along the way, the MC discovers that there is/are other(s) with similar circumstances, and also that some/many with powers have been captured and imprisoned by the group.

I know some of these are more like prompts than actual plots and that all of them lack a lot of basic plot stuff, but I figured that it'd be good to keep them more incomplete since developing partially-formed plot ideas as a group of people might benefit us more. Hope that's okay!

Let me know what you guys think. ^^

Those all sound like they would be very long, maybe we could stick to just a simple comic strip? 4-6 frames?

Oh, I had no idea, I thought we were doing a comic strip every month or so. I guess thats fine lol, but maybe we could stick with something a little bit happier, just in case someone is going through a time in their life where someone has passed?
