I pick up the sword and swing it around to test it, then I look around the treehouse to see if there are any other things that would be of use to me, perhaps a sheath for the sword.

That must be where the hurricane came from. I think. I decide to keep it, thinking it might be of use later. Then I climb down from the treehouse and continue to explore my surroundings.
