You all gather for the Weekly snorkel, excitedly listening through the instructors guidance and tips. Once the introduction is over, which many sit impatiently as it is not their first time listening, you are all handed the necessary gear. You are lead onto boats that carefully make their way closer to the reefs of the Sanctuary. Once close enough, the volunteers allow you to disembark into the waters to start your day of snorkeling!

During your stay you spend most of your time admiring the bright, vibrant colours of the underwater flora and fauna. Brilliant corals surrounded by beds of kelp and seagrass keeps you in awe the entire time, and seeing the Nudimo play about in the currents only brightens the experience. Your feel very relaxed and joyful by the time you have to leave.

On the way to visit the nudimo, you notice a large amount of stray netting has gotten snagged in the seaweed. You untangle the mess and give it to the volunteers, who notice there are small bits of treasure knotted in the net, and happily allow you to keep the pieces as thanks.
You get 3 bulbs!

While exploring a the reef you notice a Nudimo hiding between some coral. You approach, curious, only to realize that the Nudimo looks very ill. You attempt to bring it to the attention of the staff, hoping to help, but it seems that the thought of treatment scares the Nudimo. Before the staff can reach you the Nudimo has swam off, choosing another place to hide. The staff thanks you anyway, telling you theyll set up a proper search for the sick Nudimo. By the time you have to leave you hear news that the Nudimo was found and taken in. Youre thanked again and you leave the Sanctuary feeling relieved that the Nudimo could get help.

Also Dragongem, I'm so sorry for the late snorkel, I completely forgot anyone had signed up this week. Here's your snorkel result:

A weird sound catches your attention while snorkeling near a chunk of reef. You turn towards the sound and see a Nudimo, and you realize as you get closer that the sound was clearly one of distress. The Nudimo looks very ill. You quickly try to catch the staffs attention, and they thank you profusely for doing so. They allow you to tag along as they bring it to shore for treatment, and with your crunchy coral you help keep the Nudimo calm. The Nudimo looks much better by the time you have to leave, and you feel like youve made a new friend.
What did you discover is the name of your new friend?

Also since this is the second time you've done it I will just let you know that there are only certain days you can sign up for snorkels. If you post on a day you cannot sign up, you will be ignored on the day snorkels are done. You can read about what days you can sign up on the Snorkel post on the front page.
