I am so confused how do cryptograms work :') I'm dumb

Each symbol stands for a letter, basically.

I understand that, but I don't understand how you figure out which symbol is which letter. That's the hard part, right?

Mhm. If you read up a bit on cryptanalysis, you'll see there are ways. Fai's been giving us the letter A each time as a start, and then sometimes that's enough to figure out other words from there, etc.

Much as I'd like her to branch out into more complex ciphers... so far they've all been simple substitution ciphers. So that's probably all you'll need to read up on.

Also, she said she was going to bed and then preparing for New Year's, so there won't be any more today. You've got time :P
