How do I add a pet to an Exploration Party?

to add pet to party
> go to the Party page in the Explore tab
> scroll down, select pet you want using the pair of dropdown menus (left one lists stable, right one lists the pets in the stable)
> click the green + button next to them once you have the pet selected to add it to your party
> when you have more than one pet in the party, you can click them in the party display to swap them around
> to remove a pet from the party, you click the red - in the top right of their party pet display
> to unlock the second pet slot, go to the Sylesti Plaza in Esior's Haven once you can access it to buy it
> to unlock the third, go to the Sylesti Plaza in Sanctuary of Saerielle once you unlock the second region to buy it

Most outfits are tied to festivals/events or are LG exclusives tho there should be some avalable from ennemy during exploration and from buying them from an npc as well.

an assortment:
> Random enemy drop (depends on enemy, eg, vorkids can drop vorkid webbing)
> random elite/boss drop (depends on the boss, eg. Yurgo the Twisted can drop Emerald Staff of the Oracle). If festival/event Boss, item is limited time before retiring
> bought from town/vendor (assorted places. Usually at least two spots in each town and one vendor each in SBO and AT)
> bought from Avatar Shop for diamonds or peerless avatar tokens (tokens are obtained typically as forum game prizes or the like)
> bought from festival shop
> made in the Lost Grove blacksmith via blueprints dropped by elites/bosses
> bought from other players in the item marketplace forum or off of the broker
> obtained from Retired Avatar Item boxes (obtainable during fests)
> for completing and combining item sets during Events (eg. combining candy hearts during valentines event)
I think that's most ways

Do the Spring Fest Garden supplies 'expire' when the fest ends? I know the ones in our inventories expire, but do the ones in the garden do the same?

yes. All (non-avatar) fest supplies are completely unusable after a fest ends. They cannot be saved for use next year.
