Here's a handy tip for you: Towards the end of a festival, the very active players tend to have a /lot/ of extra items that we try to dump on other people. Prices drop dramatically. So if you can't get your hands on supplies on your own throughout a fest, you might try looking at region chat or in the forums when the fest is winding down to see if people are giving stuff away ^.^
