The news had just spread across the news of a tragic accident. A young girl the age of twenty had just been killed in a car accident. They found a wallet on her, identifying her as Olive from a slip of paper with her name doodled over it. What would happen now? You were once again abandoned, left alone on the streets.

William~

William sat alone in the one part of the sewers he normally stayed in. He stroked his cat's back softly, as he stared at the boring, grey wall in front of him. He hoped Olive would get back soon, he was starting to get a little bored. His cat mewed at him softly. Will smiled softly, and took a piece of fish from dinner last night, feeding it to the calico cat. He called her Neko, because it meant cat in Japanese. She was a sweet cat, hadn't ever scratched or hissed at him once. Will always came here to be alone, and to get away from being bothered by Tico....
God, she was so clingy, and somehow always so cheerful. It sometimes got on his nerves, but at the same time, she brightened everyone else's moods somehow. He continued to sit in silence, as he smiled softly to himself.

Tico~

Tico was busy skipping along in the long passage ways of the sewers, humming a new song she had heard while exploring yesterday. Oh how she would love to have a phone to listen to music on. She spun around in a happy mood, and kept walking to where she and all the other older kids slept. She wanted to get her new book from her bag and read it for a bit. She entered the room, and stepped over all the loose sleeping bags, blankets, and pillows. She sat down in her own bright pink sleeping bag, and pulled out her book. She was still humming the tune as she read her book. Maybe Olive would bring her a new book today.

Sawyer~

Sawyer was leaning against the wall, flicking his pocket knife up, and pushing it back in. He wanted something to do, there was nothing fun around here anymore. He could go pester Will, but that never ended well. Especially when Olive told him to leave him alone. He sighed, and slipped his pocketknife back into his back pocket. He decided to go explore the city for a bit. He needed some fresh air.
He walked a ways, before climbing up a ladder that was behind an old, broken down house.
Sawyer then walked a ways in the streets, before coming upon a television shop. He glaced at the news, and was going to keep walking, when he heard the name Olive. He quickly turned back, and watched the television in fear.
" N-No. That can't be her.. " Sawyer then saw a close up of the young lady, and his heart almost stopped beating. He made no hesitation to run back towards the sewers. This was bad. Really, really, bad.

Akra had followed William to where he sat now , keeping out of sight Akra sat around the corner with all 5 of his cats who decided that they would be noisy . scratching at the ground all the cats chased each other and meowed up a storm loud enough to me heard by will . he just sat there and plugged his ears "Shhhhhhhhh! " the cats didn't pay him any mind and instead decided to all clamor onto him knocking him over. they knew he liked will and wanted his to say something to the other boy. his family of cats was persistent .

Carmela was sitting alone with her suitcase, out of site from the others. She quietly looked through her dresses. She stood up and put on one of the dresses. She spun around. She looked very happy as she quietly sang a song.

Aland was crying. Someone had commented on his white hair. He hadnt stuck around long enough to hear what they had said about his hair. As soon as they had started talking about his hair, he had ran. He pulled his knees up to his chest.

Luna

Luna had finished her drawing, and quickly hid her sketchpad back in the bag she always had with her. It was a sunny day, and she did not like to be trapped underground for too long. She had seen Sawyer going outisde, earlier. She wondered where he had gone. She could go for a walk, too. Maybe she could try to find some new pencils and to bring back some toys for her brother. Or candies for everybody. It would lighten the mood. She did not know why, but she had a bad feeling today, and found that there was a heavy atmosphere in the place.
"See you later, stay safe and out of trouble" she said to her brother with a wink
"You're the one who should stay out of trouble!" she had heard him yell back in a joking tone when she was already gone.
She climbed the stairs, and went out of the sewers. She walked a bit. The sky was cerulean blue, only covered in some part by some white sheep looking white clouds.
Suddenly, she saw Sawyer running back. What was happening? Was he followed by someone?

Phoenix

Phoenix was in a good mood as always. He decided to lopk around to see if he could find someone to play some game with. He saw Aland who was sitting, his arms around his leggs. The boy was shy and often stayed alone, but he was not much older than him, so maybe he would like to play? As he approached, he realized that the boy was sobbing. Phoenix hated seeing someone sad.
"Aland, are you fine? Why are you crying?" The young boy asked in a very soft and converned tone.

Aland looked up. He wiped the tears from his eyes. He stared at Pheonix for a moment, unsure of what to say. He didnt talk often and found it rather hard to tell people about his problems. Aland opened his mouth but no words came out of his mouth. He began crying again. It seemed as though the young boy could cry a river.

Lilac skipped around a little bit before noticing a cat staring at her, meowing. Li looked both ways, wanting no one to hear this, since Olive sometimes followed her. She was shy, very shy, and only wanted to talk to Tico and animals. So, after noticing no one else, she bent down and started to pet the cat.

The cat, clearly pleased, began to purr.

"Are you hungry, little kitty?" she asked the cat.

"Meow," replied the cat, looking at Li with hungry eyes.

Li picked up the cat and said, "Let's find Tico. She'll know what to do."

A clipping of a newspaper from today stuck to the bottom of Li's black boot as she walked back to the sewers.

Phoenix was still standing near Aland. He wanted to make the other boy feel better and stop crying, but he was not sure of what he could do.
"Why are you crying?" he asked again, while sitting near Aland. "I promise I will not tell anyone. Are you hurt? Do you want me to go get something for you?"

Cozi sat alone, outside an entrance to the sewers, thinking. She had been trying to take a nap but Tico had come in and started humming obnoxiously, so angrily, Cosette had headed outside for some peace and quiet. 'Kids are so annoying' she thought. Suddenly Sawyer ran past her and into the sewers. He looked worried, very worried. Concerned, Cosette hurried to follow him.

Aland looked up again. Its my dumb hair... he said quietly, sounding rather bitter as he said hair. He looked up again, the tears fading away.

William~

Will heard a lot of mewing and noise coming from the corner to his left. Neko his cat, then ran after the noise.
" Neko! " Will called after her, as he ran to where she was headed. He came to a stop once he rounded the corner, to see all these cats playing around. There was also a person buried under all the cats. Neko went right ahead and jumped into the pile.
" Urgh, Neko.. Knock it off already... " Will moved some of the cats, to see Akra. Will had seen him around a few times, but had only ever talked to him once. Olive introduced them when he first came here.
" What are you doing here..? " Will asked, picking up Neko. Will was sure that only he knew about this part of the sewers, besides Olive, and somehow Tico found out...


Tico~

Tico got bored. Shouldn't Olive be home by now? She got up, and walked out of the sleeping area, and looked around for anyone else. She then spotted Lilac. She happily walked up to her.
" Hiya Li! Is that a cat? " Tico smiled as she looked at the little ball of fluff in her arms. She then noticed something stuck to her foot. She bent down, and gently took the newspaper.
Her eyes read over it, but her happy expression quickly faded.
" No, that can't be her... " Tico mumbled to herself. She glanced at the picture, to see the paper that everyone had signed for her birthday. The news paper said she was....
Dead.
Tico trembled as she looked at it over, and over.
" Lilac, we need to find everybody now, only the older kids. " She said in a serious tone. That was a very strange coming from Tico, since she was always so happy.

Sawyer~

Sawyer needed to tell all the older kids the news. This was very bad. Without Olive, how could we survive?
" I need all the older kids, now! " He half shouted. Sawyer continued to run down the sewer passageways, until he came upon the sleeping room. He then turned to Cosette.
" Except Will. He can't hear this yet. " He added quickly. He knew how close to Olive Will was. He would certainly not take the news easily. He'd tell him when he was alone. Sawyer wanted to go to the place Olive was hit, but police swarmed that area, they would be asked for their parents in a heartbeat.
