I think the link is incorrect; that directs to a post about planted seeds. What happens to those seeds which have not been planted?

If the feature is reused next year, they will be refunded into gold prior to next year's Festival starting.

I extended the Garden, Shop, etc's availability through Thursday, June 28th.
I will also try and get the recently announced Forum Game prizes all handed out tomorrow (Sat).
We will be having a 4th of July mini-event beginning probably somewhere between the 29th through 1st and it will last probably 10-15 days or so. So look for that very soon. =)

If it's refunded next year, it's turned into the defunct tokens that you can sell.

If you keep some Easter Egg currency in your inventory when the festival ends, will it also turn into gold or something by the time of next festival? Or will it stay there and be able to be redeemed for next festival?
