I think I am still a little confused on the equipment for each pet. I thought I had what my party pets need.

If you have equipment that will help my pets I will gladly give you gold for it, I don't mind paying, thank you.

no, no, your team has the right kinds of equipment, but level and rarity of equipment play a big role in how effective they are.

Okay, so let's compare, with all the rarities of the same level next to eachother, side-by-side
(Note that Relics' main variation is in the Damage, which is a specific to them. If I remember rightly, Relic's main buff is the Damage, Armor's is the HP, and Accessories' are Str/Int/Dex/Agi):

Relic, Illusionist, lv25,
Uncommon / Rare / Epic / Legendary
Damage:
55 / 80 / 105 / 135
HP:
30 / 43 / 55 / 70
Mana:
2 / 4 / 6 / 8
Str:
4 / 6 / 7 / 9
Int:
6 / 9 / 11 / 14
Dex:
4 / 6 / 7 / 8
Agi:
8 / 11 / 14 / 17

Relic, Illusionist, lv45,
Uncommon / Rare / Epic / Legendary
Damage:
95 / 143 / 189 / 235
HP:
50 / 74 / 97 / 120
Mana:
2 / 4 / 6 / 8
Str:
6 / 9 / 12 / 15
Int:
10 / 15 / 20 / 24
Dex:
6 / 9 / 12 / 15
Agi:
12 / 18 / 24 / 29

(*mana boost is tied directly to rarity- in pre-Grove equips, uncom = 2, rare =4, epic = 6, etc.)
(also, I'm staring between the lv45 uncommon relics in the Broker and ZarmaCyndal's and going '???????' because hers has... slightly higher stats than all of them?? Prodding at the broker, apparently there's a little variation sometimes, and like... huh, really? Maybe it's the Uncommon Equip's version of the Bonus %'s all higher rarities have.)

Relic, Sapphire's Relic of Sorrow / Revenant's Relic, Mythical, lv25 / 50
Damage: 165 / 315
HP: 90 / 165
Mana: 10 / 10
Str: 9 / 17
Int: 18 / 33
Dex: 9 / 17
Agi: 18 / 33

(Mythicals are named and statted a bit differently- more along the lines of equipment before the proficiency overhaul. Also only come in lv25 and 50, but there was no low-rarity lv50 equipment in the Broker for us to reference)

technically the scrap value for all this junk combined is just over 17k, which isn't much for us but is probably more for you, so you can just have it.

I bought some different equipment for my pets, but I need to rebuild my gold, I spent most of what I had in Nisshoku and his equipment. It takes me a long time to build my gold. I do the daily quests that I can, and I send 5 pets in missions.

It took me a while to get the hang of things, and I am still slowly learning, but I don't think I am doing too bad, I just started less than a month ago.

Thanks so much for your help.

Don't worry! You're doing fine! ^^

When I first started, it took me over a year to get past Umbra Forest, since I just spent my time breeding instead. :P

Just make sure to definitely change out all your equipment at level 60!

And if things start to get difficult before then, you can always buy level 50 gear in the meantime.

For missions, the trick is to boost one stat (health, strength, intelligence, dexterity, or agility) as much as possible. Doing this is generally not a good idea for battling, so I train a few pets only to do missions. (My whole first tab is full of pets that only do missions). They are trained and equipped to just boost one stat. You don't need so many of course (1-2 pets for each stat is enough), but it shows the idea.

Luckily, missions don't need super strong pets (and you can use high level pets too!).
