He looked up and put on some glasses, the chain went down past his cheek to his ear so they looked extra fancy, "Thalia Alvin. Recent graduate of the Adventurers school? I'm sure there are some tasks he can give you over there" he brisky waved his hand towards the task master, "We can enroll you here, but you should also look into going to intermediate adventurers school and advanced as well. Although, that is not urgent."

"Yes, I consider going to intermediate and advanced adventurers schools, said Thalia, but I think I will spend some time on the sea to decide which specialisation I will choose first."
I thanked the headmaster, and walked towards the task master.
"Hello. I am sorry to disturb you while you're reading. My name is Thalia Alvin, I am looking for tasks I could accomplish for the guild".

He looked up, "We have heard that Candia has started growing a new type of plant in the outskirts of it's city. You could go and collect us a sample, but be careful for bandits." he paused, "We also have a quest to go up to Salonica and pick up some new investigation findings for easy tasks"

Thank you for moving the RPGs! You definitely went far the roleplaying section. I forgot to label this one RPG, my fault. Could you please move it as well?

Salonica and Candia were in the opposite directions, so I would have to take a decision. Going to Candia to collect a plant sample seemed interesting, it was a place I wanted to see, and I knew that the currents made the sailing towards the large island quite easy. But the presence of bandits worried me a bit.
"When you say that I should be careful for bandits if I choose to go to Candia, do you mean that I could encounter pirates on the sea, or that there are bandits on the island?" I asked.

He pushed glasses up his nose, "Both. The pirates at sea are pesky but easy, you don't need experience, just shoot the cannon to beat them. On land, they aren't imbeciles. They do know how to fight and you don't have a weapon. Plus, you have not learnt the collection skill to find plants yet."

London towered behind you, the cobbled streets were busy and crowded with people. You noticed the port official guiding some new sailors; you recognised them from the School of Adventure. There was a slight smog in the air, hanging low but not too low, just about touching the roofs. You felt a cold wind sail through the harbour, throwing up some water onto the docks. You heard a shout, a large group of sailing ships seemed to be docking in the harbour. The lead schools looked exquisite and over the top just before you headed off into the capital.

Still want to head into town or investigate? ;3; Temporarily continue without Clem owo
