You briefly bumped into a few people, but they did not seem to notice. You were soon within a few feet of the well-dressed man, but he was already in a conversation with a different sailor. You could tell from the bits you heard that he was the port official.

I waited patiently for him to stop talking whilst discreetly listening in to the current conversation he was having. You never know what could be important. Eli kept his head down, trying not to draw attention to himself. He enjoyed the company of people but was feeling a little claustrophobic with all the people around him. When the port official had finished his conversation, Eli tried to catch his attention. "I heard you sell food and things..." Eli turned to face the man. "How much would it be for 20 day's worth food and water for two?"

As you approach the gangplank, a man in his late twenties strides down and greets you.
*Capn,* he says with a salute, *Welcome aboard the Siren. My name is Vere. I am currently posted as first mate, Sir.*
He was a well-built, strong fellow, with well-kept black hair and a short chin beard. He wore a green bandanna round his neck and had simple sailors clothes.

"Hello Vere," I say, smiling and nodding, "can i meet the rest of the crew?"

The woman looked up, her large golden hoops swinging as she did so. She ran her hand through her curly hair, looking you over. *15 gold per barrel of rum, and 20 gold for a flat o furs.* she replied, fingering something idly.

The Official nodded in a businesslike manner, *Small crew, eh? Well. For just the two, and twenty days...* he tapped his fingers together, calculating, *Thatll be 50 gold, 60 if you want oranges to avoid scurvy.* he said in a crisp accent.

Eli rummages through his pockets, hunting for his money. "I think I'll take the oranges" He finds the small, plain bag he keeps his money in and fishes it out. He counts exactly 60 gold then pauses. "How much would it be to have some timber too?" He smiles at the man kinda apologetically for wasting his time. The official looked like a busy man. "I just remembered, sorry"

[quote=1230049]

Alice rubbed her palms in a burst of excitement, they had finally graduated! She flashed a smile of pride as she turned towards her older brother. "Oh, I can't wait to start sailing! But we should prob'ly get some supplies and meet our crews first." She glanced with a stroke of joy at the Wind's Pleasure, she couldn't wait to get on her and explore the vast oceans.

"Sounds like a plan." Arthur gingerly mimicked Alice's motion, rubbing his hands together and grinning. "Let's check out what the village has to offer, shall we?" He swept off towards the buildings.

(That's cheap. The market prices are 1,040 for fur and 452 for vodka in St Petersburg right now if we're using the wiki xD)

She gave a wide smile, pushing forward enough money to buy just enough for one set of fur and one vodka, she had same some of Eli's money earlier. She swayed from side to side on her tip toes, impatiently waiting.

London towered behind you, the cobbled streets were busy and crowded with people. You noticed the port official guiding some new sailors; you recognised them from the School of Adventure. There was a slight smog in the air, hanging low but not too low, just about touching the roofs. You felt a cold wind sail through the harbour, throwing up some water onto the docks. You heard a shout, a large group of sailing ships seemed to be docking in the harbour. The lead schools looked exquisite and over the top just before you headed off into the capital.

You soon found the magnificent door of the adventure guild, in a triangle formation with the trade and maritime guild. As you headed in, you saw notice boards and the guild master behind the desk. The task master was near a notice board, sitting on a chair and reading a book on his lap. he had some papers on the door beside him with a model boat.

I looked around in the quarter of the guild. There was a man behind the desk, and looking at his outfit and behaviour, I guessed it was the guild master. Near a notice board was a man reading a book. Was he the task master? I hesitated a few instants, not sure if I should have a look at the notice boards first, or if I should introduce myself to the men. I finally decided to start by introducing myself. These men knew about the guild, and could give me some useful tips and tell me which tasks were the most urgent.
I did not want to disturb the one who was reading, so I walked in the direction of the guild master first.

"Hello. I am Thalia Alvin, adventurer ready to set sail, and I wish to join the guild. I was wondering if their are some tasks I could accomplish for you during my travels".

He looked up and put on some glasses, the chain went down past his cheek to his ear so they looked extra fancy, "Thalia Alvin. Recent graduate of the Adventurers school? I'm sure there are some tasks he can give you over there" he brisky waved his hand towards the task master, "We can enroll you here, but you should also look into going to intermediate adventurers school and advanced as well. Although, that is not urgent."
