"That's my Branchie," I smile at him, giving him a nice scratch behind his ears.

I check the time. If it's night then we should head back to that oak tree we slept in last night. But if there is some daylight left I want to have a go at looking for some abandoned dragon eggs. A little buddy for me and Branch would be nice, and if we were to save an egg that was abandoned by its parents then we'll be doing the hatchling a favour too.
