I snarl, hoping we could scare her off without a fight. I stand next to Clawpaw, not going in front of her and staying slightly behind.

The apprentice didn't move, but waited. She didn't seem scared and rather calm.

I snarl, a bit quieter and then wait to see if she has anything to say or if my clanmate is going to attack her

His tail flicked and he started heading out. You could interpret from a few signs it was going to be strength and battle training.
