There were two kingdoms,the kingdom of Solis and the kingdom of Lunare.They had a Great War and as a peace treaty,they promised to exchange their first born children and raise them as their own.These were called Eclipses.This is the tale of the Eclipse of Lunare,the Princess of Solis and how their perfect world isn't always perfect.
Ranks:
Gods:Ferrikki.They are worshipped and occasionally visit sylesties in dreams and give them guidance.
Royalty:Puffadores.They rule the whole kingdom.
Higher Nobles:Ny'venes.Different nobles are in charge of different things such as money,education and health and if something were to happen to the royals,they would take over.
Seasonal Nobles:Aeridini,Lighira,Ryori and Griffi.There are 25 of each species and when it is their respective season,they rule one of the 25 districts of the kingdom.
Priests,Priestesses,Magicians And Royal Healers:Nephini.They are leaders of temples,can use many different types of magic and specialise in healing.
Healers and Teachers:Faeloras.They teach children and heal ordinary people.They have a small amount of magic.A few are priest and priestesses
Guards and Army people:Morkkos and Vulnyxs.They fight in the army and guard the palace.
Servants and Shopkeepers:Zolnixi and Luffox.The lucky ones teach Royal children,advise the King and manage companies but majority of them are servants and shopkeepers.
Farmers:Bulboris and Lunemaras.They are peaceful and live in small communities where they all help on a farm.
Mounts and messengers:Aurleon and Qitari.They pull carts,carry people on their backs and deliver messages.
Builders and Manual Workers:Luporas and Draeyls.They lift loads and build all the buildings.
Water Dwellers:Kelparis and Sylvorpas.They live in underwater communities and sell magical plants and coral that they grow.They also act as boat men and drag your boat across the water.

Chapter one
Two pups played on the glass in front of the palace.One with dark fur and one with light but they were both from the Royal kingdoms of Solis and Lunare.The dark furred one,Leo,pounced on top of the light furred one,Lilly.He looked into her eyes.There were so pretty.Lilly turned round and kicked him.They began play fighting again.A call interrupted their fighting."Lilly!"The queen called and the two of them ran inside.The and queen was waiting but the King was nowhere to be seen."Lilly,I have something to tell you."The Queen began."I'm having a pup"She continued "You're going to have a brother"Lilly perked up and then her ears drooped."But I already have a brother"She said "Are you going to get rid of Leo?"She asked.Leo felt frightened for a moment.Were they kicking him out?The queen smiled"We won't get rid of him.But he isn't your brother.He's from the Lunare kingdom.We exchange our first born's"Lilly's mother explained.Lilly looked confused"Am I going to go to the kingdom of Lunare?"She puzzled.The Queen shook his head "No,you had an older sister.She is in Lunare"Lilly perked up again"So you're not getting rid of Leo,and I'm having a baby brother!Yay!"She cried and licked her mother's ear.She ran out into the garden.Leo followed and they sat on the grass together.

"I'm glad you're not going."Lilly remarked as they sat together."Me too"Leo replied.They looked at each other.Lilly licked Leo's ear and he pawed her."Hey!"She whimpered and they started poking each other.The Queen watched from a distance.The King approached her and they started arguing.The two pups,oblivious to this,continued playing but the fierce arguement went on.

Chapter Two
Lilly sat in lessons,with her teacher,Gregory.Leo was next to her,his ears perked up.She had found lessons boring at first,but her teacher made even the dullest lessons fun.Geregory was a snowy zolnixi with dapples of grey."Lilly,where was the battle between Solis and Lunare?"He asked.Lilly thought for a moment."In the town of Diurna,in the kingdom of Solis."She replied."Good"Gregory praised "Leo,what was the agreement that would happen in return for peace?""That the first born child of each Royals would go to the opposite kingdom and live there."Leo recited.Gregory opened his mouth to talk again but a shout interrupted him.The Royal messenger flew into the room."The queen is having her child!"She shouted.Lilly jumped up and ran to the healers room,with Leo close on her tail.Her mother lay on a padded bed.She was clearly in pain.Lilly's father ushered them out."She is in a lot of pain"He ordered "Wait outside and we will call you in."Lilly sat outside for what seemed like hours until they were finally let in.A small hatchling curled up next to her mother."Lilly,meet your brother,Harry."He was beautiful.Lilly watched as his tummy sank in and out with his breathing."He's perfect"She replied

"We would like you meet our son,Prince Harry"The King announced.Hundereds had gathered to finally see the baby.The looming faces were daunting but Lilly knew she would have to get used to this.She would be ruler one day.No,I won't,she corrected herself .Harry will.It's so unfair,she thought,he's way younger than me!She sighed as the crowd oohed and aahed at her brother.

Chapter Three
Lilly sat at her throne.She was an adolescent now,so she had a throne of her own.Leo sat proudly at his.They were having a meeting with the Lunare King and queen,as well as their two children and the eclipse.Lilly stared in wonder at her sister.This was their first meeting.She knew the two princes of Lunare felt the same way about Leo.The adults were discussing the disappearance of Harry.He had vanished without a trace and her parents thought the people of Lunare were to blame."I would like to ask if you know anything about the capture of our son."Her father boomed."We don't know anything,so leave us alone!"The King of Lunare retorted."How come one of my most trusted soldiers spotted three Lunares with a large sack in our Kingdom?"Her father asked.The King didn't reply."Give us back our son."Her mother snarled."Never!Not justice is restored!"The King yowled."My sister lived in your kingdom as an Eclipse until she was killed by you !" "That is not our fault.Your sister broke the law by committing treason and was punished!"Aria shouted."She wanted to join me and meet me.Is that wrong?"The King of Lunare yelled back."Yes!"The King shouted "If she were to meet you,she would want to return to Lunare and eclipses don't do that.We exchange our children and they stay in the other kingdom.This is how it has always been.My parents told her that and yet she still wanted to do it.She escaped and seriously injured several sylesties.She deserved to die""No she didn't.Those sylesties were killed by monsters,she did nothing wrong!"The King yelled."If you will not even make an inquiry into it,I'm afraid this means war!"The royal family of Lunare stormed out of the castle.

Lunare, the kingdom of Solis was wrong to kill a young sylesti, even though she wasn't supposed to meet her biological parents, it sucks how stuff like that happens.

Chapter 4
Leo watched the King pace across the throne room anxiously.It had been almost a week since the declaration of war and though no attacks had happened,the whole kingdom was nervous.The doors swung open suddenly.The Morkko Guards growled and unsheathed their claws.A wounded Faelora stumbled in,with her a young Qitari."Priestess Katelyn,what is wrong?"Edward demanded.Katelyn choked "I have come to warn you...they have come!" She collapsed to the floor and let out her last feeble breath.

"Goodbye,my friend"The queen bowed her head low to Katelyn's body.The Qitari looked at them.Even as a hatchling,she was larger than the royals."Why are you saying goodbye?She'll wake up silly!"She remarked.Leo saw Edward open his mouth to reveal the brutal truth to the Qitari but Lilly interrupted him.She spoke softly "What's your name""Tigeress,'cause of my stripes"The Qitari replied,indicating to her light blue stripes."Well Tigeress,Katelyn is very tired after taking you all the way here so she's just having a sleep and the guards will take her to a nice,comfy bed."Lilly explained.Her father frowned at her gentle tone:the King valued discipline over friendship.Leo padded over to Tigeress."Now,can you tell us what town you came from?""Diurna!"Tigeress.replied happily.Leo and Lilly exchanged a glance.Diurna was where the first war between the Kingdoms had taken place.It was no coincidence that the second was taking place there.The Lunare's wanted this war to be just like the last,with one difference.There wouldn't be peace;one kingdom would perish and the other would prevail.And both kingdoms intended it to be them that survived.
