I found one in the Grove and it was a common or uncommon. No carried traits listed. Is that going to stay the same or will they change?

No Abandoned Nests have been found in the Lost Grove as they are not released yet. So I am unsure what you're referring to. =P

I am super excited about this feature, Krin! I can't wait to start finding Abandoned Nests!

Also, great idea about releasing pets to increase chances. I agree with everyone so far in saying this should be a big help to the pet economy! I usually save up pets to release for Spring Fest, but I'll start dipping into them now XD

Hmm, with this feature, I am curious about a couple of things.

First of all, will there be some sort of indicator to tell us our bonus to finding nests based on the number of pets we have released, or will that be hidden?

Also, like in fests and Astryl's Vale, can multiple nests spawn at once?

At this time, there is no indicator for nest spawns.

And at this time, only 1 nest can be up at a time.

And I had a feeling it would probably only be 1 nest at a time. Had to ask, though. ;) Otherwise, it would be pretty broken considering how awesome the eggs will be! I am super excited, though!

how did you get to such a high level in a short amount of time? im still stuck on the bandit camp Vulnyxes.

Krin, I am very much loving this feature, especially the released pets aspect of it. First, it will clean up the cheap pets on the market.... which I did quite a few! Next, it will help give people a reason to clean their extras out of the stables and Third, we may get a themed egg out of the deal! I hope this helps stabilize the market as you are wishing!
I do have a question, since this will help drastically with the pets being released, are you still planning on a contest for release this Spring Fest? I know it is a bit ahead of time here.... but, my thought is, I hope there isn't a contest. I spent way too much time junk breeding to release pets for that contest, and I know others did the same. I don't think this is a good way to breed.... I didn't particularly enjoy it.
