Wait a second. Some of the theme designs are shown with restricted traits. Doesnt this mean that they will be able to be caught with restricted traits, or is it just for show?

There seems to be some confusion with the mechanics of Stage 2 and how the Barracks actually work. Hopefully this can help clear up some of the confusion.

From here on out once players have reached Stage 2, they will begin finding all of the available materials used through the Lost Grove - and there are a lot of them that are used for all sorts of different things.

The initial goal of these materials will be to be used for constructing one of the 6 Buildings inside the Barracks, which can be entered directly from the Lost Grove map.

The Barracks are personal for all players. This means that every single player has their own version of their Barracks. They will visit, construct, and upgrade these Barracks on their own, in whatever order they choose to do so, whenever they choose to do it.

As a static building, the Barracks already provides a few perks for players.

-Players can now enter the Barracks and change their Party.
-Players can now enter the Barracks and have their pets self heal/revive over time.
-Players will automatically be taken to the Barracks upon a Party Defeat rather than being kicked from the zone.

For the Global Stage 2, there are two progression requirements: defeating Nightfall Enemies (Brigands, Menders, Battlemages, Captains, and Eleane the Duelist), and construction Barracks Buildings. These are global Tasks. A certain amount of bandits has to be defeated and a certain amount of Barracks Buildings has to be constructed. Any player on Global Stage 2 can contribute to these requirements.

As long as a player has at least 1 point of contribution prior to Stage 2 completing, they will be eligible to move onto Stage 3. This means that you literally can defeat 1 bandit and move onto Stage 3 - that is the only requirement to progress to Stage 3 from Global Stage 2. However, keep in mind that each Stage gets progressively harder. You really should intend on doing more than just literally 1 point to move on to the next Stage or things will become progressively more difficult.

Once Stage 2 has been completed, players will then be coming into Stage 2 in their Individual Instance. They will be required to defeat a certain amount of bandits and construct 2 of the Barracks Buildings. Doing so will then progress them to Stage 3.

It is intended for players to construct the Temple of Light and the Trading Post first. They require the least amount of materials and provide the best immediate benefit. However, you don't have to. Players can construct Buildings in whatever order they desire.

And yes, it costs Gold to construct the Buildings. This is a game where there is a currency and that currency will always be used for new features. That is how things work. =P The benefits of the Barracks are vital to enjoying everything that the Lost Grove has to offer. The Gold prices are more than worth the benefit of constructing a Building.

Additionally, the Lost Grove Chests throw out an awful lot of Gold at times. If you are struggling with Gold, I would suggest saving those big 20k+ amounts and putting them towards constructing Barracks Buildings.

And lastly, a brief rundown of the buildings:

Temple of Light: Once constructed, allows players to fully heal their Party for Gold or with Mender's Talismans. More benefits later on.

Trading Post: Once constructed, allows players to purchase consumables for Gold or with various Lost Grove supplies. More benefits later on.

Training Grounds: Once constructed, allows players to turn in various materials to receive various buffs against various enemies for a certain period of time. More benefits later on.

Tracker's Hut: Once constructed, allows players to turn in various materials to receive encounter rate boosts against selected species of Sylesti. More benefits later on.

Blacksmith's Station: Once constructed, allows players to deconstruct unwanted Equipment for materials. Allows the Reforging of Equipment to enhance its Stats. More benefits later on.

Enchanted Portal: Cannot be constructed at this time.

I just used what I thought looked nice.

Since RTDs are a thing now, Restricted Traits aren't really entirely exclusive to their Restricted Themed anymore.

Thanks Krin! I think this is the part in particular that players were confused about. Hopefully players will read through everything you wrote and this won't matter but you may want to bold it in green as well.

Everyone has to construct the Barracks Buildings with the same effort - global or individual - today or months from now. =)

It is 100% intended for everyone to construct the Barracks Buildings for themselves.
