Wait, 7 days? Are you saying I can only breed my female once a week?

All Fabled species Females have a recovery time of 7 days. It has been that way since the first Fabled species. =P

No it makes sense, and I do understand why people would be upset about this feature. It just means people will have to be more selective of breeding pets.
Mass breeding and such I get it That's what I did at fist. But then I made the investment to get more attractive pets and scowered the Advanced search for possible partners. But my problem is that I have lots of lovely pets and such that can't be found on the search because of other ppets being sold for next to nothing.

This will help boost the economy even if it might suck to begin with. It will take time but I think in the long run it will help people to find better pets and be able to sell their own pets at more beneficial prices.

I see now, so it's for selective breeding. Though it won't really affect me except for longer time span, because I do the type of offspring that looks like it's parents 100%. Then again, It'll reduce competition, which helps. =P

And about my offspring sale, which design do you think is the best?
You can find the thead on breeding discussion and I'd like another vote or two before I decide on a design. Have s nice day everyone!

I kinda wonder if it'd been better to give 24 hours notice.

"Males now have 3 individual "cooldowns", however, an actual recovery time does not trigger until all 3 cooldowns are used. Each cooldown refreshes after 36 hours."

This is the point where I stopped reading for a moment and scrambled to take my males down from public breeding. Like I already see one of my males has a cooldown of "2". There could be people who aren't currently on and can't see this that could have their males completely used before they can take them down from breeding and won't be able to use them themselves for three days.

I'm assuming with the "2" on mine that one of the breedings is already locked? Though I haven't bred him yet today and the last time I saw him bred was yesterday at about 8pm? At least I don't remember breeding him after that.

Currently it's extremely easy to mass breed which generates a lot of unwanted pets. I personally like this idea beginning to be implemented, but I can also see that there will be a lot of resistance to this since this is a system no one's really used to or comfortable with so it'll feel strange.

In another sense this'll make players want to hold onto more pets and invest even more so in stables.

I think this will make using advanced search to find breeding options harder. With the males now going to be affected by cooldowns people will either stop offering breeding options or rise their prices, which will make it harder on the newer players.

Also. "High quality" is a matter of opinion regarding a pet, that will vary widely from person to person.

And even with the current system it is difficult for new players to get a solid start and make money, they can't sell pets because their not "high quality" and grinding in the areas don't give much gold.

So this seems it's going to be detrimental to new players trying to start out.

It seems it would be better instead of more cooldowns but to limit how many offspring a individual pet can have.

No offence but I really don't like this breeding restrictions thing. I already know how frustrating it is to have eggs hatch with the wrong traits and have to breed the parents numerous times to get the right traits so if this gets implemented breeding projects will probably start to take years. So yeah, not a big fan. Sorry :(
